How near did yours say it was? Did they mention any of that stuff that one topic with the chatlog said they mentioned? I went to one, but it was one of the first ones of the year in Tuscon and so with months gone by, it could have very well changed.

My Boyfriend's not a Witness...
by Hikaru inalright, with my last post it should be obvious i'm in conflict...if it's not, then yeah.. my boyfriend is not a witness.
he understands that witnesses can't marry or date non witnesses.
but i guess could say we've been stalling...looking for a solution a gray area to that black and white situation...but with time getting as it is...stalling doesn't work anymore.

Look! We are right for each other, we've been conflicted for days over this, not IMing each other. The topic causing conflict between us both. What he decides, he decides. I'm not dragging him down. We even considered the alternative, not being with each other, and it damn near killed us inside.
I'm not "dragging him." If he wanted to leave me for me pressingmy beliefs, then I would let him. If I wanted to leave for him not being willing to learn even. He'd let me. We've aleady discussed that, and realized we'd tear ourselves apart doing either, and so we'll get through it. So I'm not dragging, yes I forced, but I apologized for my weakness of fear and rushing.
On his own he decided to at least learn...as I asked. What do I do now?
And can I please have that scripture that says if one mate believes the other will be saved?

Could you find it, please?
Also.. to the HS comments. I'm 19, he's 18. He's on his last year.
Anyways...
I left a verbal message on his cell stating my feelings towards it all... And he agreed to at least learn but said he can't promise he'll understand everything he needs to understand out of it....
Which makes me think if I mess this up, there goes the last chance. I don't know enough to teach when I'm only studying still myself. What would the next step be? One wrong thing and I might make him understand it the wrong way. Especially if he sees only the fear part of it by basing it off my reason(fear) for being in...I haven't come to love Jehovah yet..still working on it. What if he basis learning off me?
He agreed...but what now? -

We trust each other, we've talked on the phone, given pictures. Known each other online more than a year. Internet is dangerous if you jump right away. But there's certain level of reading peolple that you know when to trust....I don't want a lecture on how the internet is dangerous... I understand full well, but I trust him and love him with....all my heart. And he loves me.
But as the issue stands. If he doesn't convert, he dies? I can't live with knowing that....

Alright, with my last post it should be obvious I'm in conflict...if it's not, then yeah.
My boyfriend is not a witness. He understands that witnesses can't marry or date non witnesses. But I guess could say we've been stalling...looking for a solution a gray area to that black and white situation...but with time getting as it is...Stalling doesn't work anymore. The more time I stall, the closer it gets with neither of us being saved....
I should mention this is an online relationship that was wanted to be real someday.... He said he can't convert because he's afraid to "lose himself." Afraid if he devotes himself fully to god, he'd have no room for happiness and lose the love he has for me....
I'm conflicted on what to do. I can't tell grandma nor an elder. They wouldn't get past the "It's an internet relationship," part long enough to give me guidance. Praying...I prayed and prayed for guidance...and the way it came... It seems god wants me to end it, if that's the answer I got and I'm not just reading too much into it....
How can I follow my heart, and at the same time hope to save my life? And even if I succeeded in doing both, watch him lose his? I can see why they say only marry in the lord. Not just because there'd be physical conflict...but it also causes emotional pain, knowing even if you're happy now...they won't survive, and you'll only be together for the rest of this f'd up mortal life....And not even that. If it comes before next or the year after? We'll only be together over the internet and never see each other before it......
I have issues bringing up subjects without withdrawing into silence mode...so I can't talk to him about it. But I had others do it...and he's not even willing to learn enough about it before choosing. He's a humanitarian with christian/christendom morals......
The thing is, I can't end it! I don't want to end it! Even if I ended the realtionship and chose god... Walking away and getting over it? Not possible. He's too important to me...even if I ended it I wouldn't get over it. I'd still worry for his life, still be in conflict...and probably even more pain. If we stay together the same...... there's just no gray option.
I asked him this as an attempt."Fine, I have this question. Would you rather be with me forever or only what's left of this f****ed up mortal life?" and the answer he gave was... "Of course I would want to be with you forever. But considering the circumstances.."
I am at a loss....I honestly don't know what to do. I've read the threads here already...I don't intend on converting. So it's useless to give that answer...

Ouija Board Hysteria
by Megachusen ini always wondered why jw's were always so afraid of ouija(pronounced as "wee-yaw" not "wee-gee") boards.
does anyone have any speculation about who started these jw myths?.
anyone who has actually tried the board and would like to give their opinions are welcome.

The spririts don't come already inside... I bothered to look it up when bored once. Bad...yeah. Either way The board is just a medium to speak to the outside spirits. Spirits that may be around. That's why the rules say don't use it outside, more possibilities of "bad spirits," (Or so they say...good don't exist...). There's actually a lot of rules to using it that make it more than a game.
Don't use it outside.
If a spirit answers, don't let it knock the (what's that thing called?) off the board, if it knocks it off upside down, say goodbye, it's bad.
Always say goodbye at the end of every session.
And many others.
It's by far more than just a kids game.

A friend of mine asked it who was the Ouijiest and it said Satan...
Then she made the mistake of asking it what it thought of Jehovah and it threw its self across the room.
My sister said she had one when I was little, but I don't remember it. She said the spirit called itself "Z." Supposedly Z bothered people in sleep and haunted the house after that. So out of curiousity I googled the topic of ouija and "Z." And found to my surprise many stories about the same spirit..sometimes as a little boy, other times as an old threatening man. So I'd go far enough to say, yeah mostly demonic.
