  Clarification to WTS CORP LIST & LAW

  i am bringing this to the top because of some comments to my previous post on whether i am stretching matters and some legal speculations and issues.

  i did not state by listing the corporations that i was citing solid assets or whether these would be good attack in litigation or whether they might be shielded.

  What about any civil suits as a result of the pedophile issue? I have much information on what can happen were this to ever become the case. I will not disclose that right now. But, I can say that the Watch Tower Soceity and its subordinate and related entities are not immune or shielded from having assets attacked.

  I would like to see those who truly deserve it be monetarily compensated for any abuse or molestation they suffered. Go after it all, they will never admit or apologize for the years of cover up that still go on.

  Prevalence of JW Suicides - Real or Imagined?

  in one or two recent threads i've seen reference to the possibility of a rising number of jw suicides being another of the organization's very dark realities about which it is vigilant in keeping concealed from its pub populace.

  is there anyone reasonably informed regarding this?

  is there reason to suppose the incidence ratio among jws is any higher than among any peoples/religion?

  Just a thought about paying bills and depression, many have very low paying jobs in the WT. Higher education and high paying full time employment has always been discouraged. That is extra pressure put on people wouldn't you agree? I realize they expect a big payoff for their sacrifice but at what cost? Does god actually want his people to suffer every day life? I think not.

  What does the WTBTS have to gain?

  i have a question:.

  if the wtbts is so into deceiving everyone and trying to reel in as many newcomers as possible, what does it actually have to gain from this?

  why are they always trying to switch teachings to make themselves look "believable"?

  It's a cult mindset, some are sincere, many follow blindly. The leaders DO NOT WANT TO BE WRONG! At all costs they will cover up to keep up an appearance of unity. They claim to be speaking for God and teach that God cannot be wrong and their reasoning on this goes in a big circle. When their wrong they will not admit it but how can they be wrong if they are speaking for God, God is never wrong.........

  Say this over and over and over again and you'll see why.

  twenty years ago our congregation had to live with a real butt-bruising presiding overseer.

  he had plenty of counsel for everyone.

  when ministerial servants or other elders were on the platform, giving a talk, he would raise his hand and comment, even when the km didnt suggest audience participation.

  The hall I formally attended has a P.O. That could fit right in with your big head boy.
  This man was constantly on our backs with his own agenda and to top it off he was of very low intelligence. He once made a newbie quit her job in a hospital because he thought it was against WT policy ,against her husbands wishes and my advice not to quit she still did. They almost lost their house.

  Dumb people in positions of power can cause a lot of trouble in a cult setting.

  i understand you've met my other half - now it's my turn!

  i feel as though i've known some of you for ages as we've been regular visitors to the board for a long, long time so it's nice to be able to dive in at long last and make contact!

  life is good - the disassociation letters went out last november and things are unbelievably quiet, no phone calls, no visits and best of all - nobody rushing up to me in the street begging me to come back.

  "Freeness of Speech" Between Elders

  what does it mean to have "freeness of speech" between elders on the elder body?

  can they ask another elder on the body anything about his personal life and/or questions they would never dare to ask one of the rank and file?

  can't find much about it in the publications.

  No proof is needed, just gossip will do. Yes I'v experienced it all, if someone is out to get you it's very easy. Some bodies of elders can be extreme in their evil treatment of each other. As wild as it can get, I won't miss it.

  being from the new england area, where this c.o.

  liked to kick ass, a few of my elder friends wanted to know whether anyone has heard of whatever happened to a circuit overseer by the name of terry angelacos.

  had a reputation of really trying to get elders removed and then he'd gloat about it at the congregation meetings.

  Freeness of speech is a power tool that is used against elders by the WT. They must "appear" exemplary to the r&f or they would not have freenes of speech to get up on the podium and spert out WT dogma. ex: elders kids are giving him trouble (probably acting normal)and he can not teach with out having everybody gossip about him.
