I know of some that dog the Watchtower here but will go to meetings and pretend to be one of the loving "friends". There are others that clearly exaggerate who they are, pretending to be beautiful, curvaceous or studly----when in reality----they're not......Can you spot phonies??
Why that would be unethical minimus, to misrepresent oneself on the Internet.
Do you actually think some posters here would do such a thing? Oh my! What has the world come to when you can't believe all people say? Especially the "curvaceous" part, I think one would pretend to look like a beautiful country singer when in reality is a very homely woman.

or do you see the same old tired worn faces?.
in my hall, you never see a member of the public just come in and say, i'd like to stay and hear this talk.. was there ever a time when complete strangers would just come in, sit down and actually listen?.

WTS wealth/assets how to be shared?
by greendawn inimagine a situation were the jw org is burst assunder with all the rank and file members leaving and then entering into a legal dispute with the wts over the assets issue: they want to claim most of it because they are the ones that really made it with their unpaid work and conributions in money or property.
they want to have the wts and all its daughter corporations.
on the other hand the wts the shareholders, the directors, will claim that the assets legally belong to them, they can boast of a legally protected ownership over them, they are registered in their name and they should keep everything.

This is a thread that makes one think in parallels, comparing lives of two different men. I in no way thought of the men as equals morally or spiritually because of what was written here. One man would kill you quickly if you crossed him the other man would kill you mentally if you crossed him. When you consider the devotion given to Rutherford (yes devotion) in the name of the WT god, cast out adherents are as dead to other members and to themselves in most cases.

by zaphod ini sent a letter to the elders before i got df'd and i would like it back.
i was not of sound mind (in my opinion) when i wrote it and foolishly disclosed stuff that i would rather was not in their hands.
