yesterday i got an unexpected phone call from my mom.. i said hi and asked her how she was.. she said not very good.. i told her i was sorry to hear that and that i was concerned about her health problems and asked if she had had any tests done or gotten results.. she said no thats not why she wasnt doing well.. i could tell from the tone of her voice that this wasnt going to be pretty.. she told me that the reason she wasnt doing well is because the memorial was coming up,.

Another example of the WT cult damaging family relations with the stone wall and blinders mind control. It's always us vs. them or Catholic vs. witness , they have to have someone to hate.
Sometimes the mental pressure of controlling another person is infused in Witnesses they don't even know the trait is there inside them. Remember, she thinks she will be saving your life from the WT killer god, with no logical way of explaining it to you she gets emotional. Then the WT auto mind shut down occurs because it protects that little world they have going on inside their heads from the evil outside world.

Witnesses have been reduced to a non thinking group of zombies waiting for all others on the planet to die. That thought alone must surface as bizarre occasionally only to be repressed with the daydream (nightmare) WT training.

Has Anyone Invited You to the Memorial?

the memorial is on in just over two weeks' time, and i was wondering:.

has anyone invited you to the memorial yet?.

my old cong knows my address and phone number yet no-one has visited or phoned to invite me.

I had the privilege (lol) to be invited yesterday by a special visit at my door at 3:30 PM . They have nothing better to do on a nice sunny day but bother people, how sad. I will not be attending this year for the first time in 27 years. I see no need to as I feel it's all false teachings anyway. A self glorifying event arranged by self proclaimed men who claim they speak for god. Some feel the need to crash the event and partake of their emblems, that only gives the event more significance than it deserves. It means nothing to me any longer, I look at them as buffoons.

even now, being "out" , i still wonder as i got to the doctors for various tests and proceedures, what if?

I also answered "none" for the first time about religious affiliation at a hospital. WOW! that felt good. There happened to be a witness working as a lab tech, that was in my former book study. I was ready to pounce if any info got back to the Gestapo (elders), however it turns out she is also now out of the org. and much happier. Four more out for good: her, her husband, & two kids, wonders never cease.

Orwell's 1984 & JWs

it's interesting to note the similarities between big brother:organization, quackspeak:pure language, etc.

I too read 1984 in high school and never forgot it. One day at a service meeting (late 70's) they were discussing confessing sins and if you see a wrong committed it's your duty to come forward to the elders. Even children were to turn in their parents, that triggered a memoire of the 1984 book that I quickly dismissed because of the new "truth" I was learning. Had I only known then how closely the witnesses and Orwells book paralleled each other!

Yes I also can thank Orwell for his fine work of fiction. Maybe he studied to be a witless ? lol

Kicking some elder ass. It was dificult to restrain myself from thinking about it. I envision hopscotching behind them kicking them in the ass all the way out of my yard. All the while laughing like a hyina with a maniacle look on my face.
