I would love to see the answers that they give to your questions.
The problem is that you can't put a worldwide flood before the pyramids because there would not be the amount of time required to build a empire even if we were off a few hundred year for the pyramids.
You also cant put the pyramids during the flood because that dont make any sense (that they built some pyramids and then were destroyed and then some of Noah's kids came back and built more pyramids).
You cant put them after the flood after the building of the pyramids because we have complete history after they were build and we know that it was not a flood that destroyed the egyptian nation.
Looks like to me that there was no flood.

My question is did they build some before and some after?

my mother still has hope i'll come back to the "truth".
i think back at the utter boredom i suffered week after week for years sitting through the dull spiritually edifying meetings.
i never understood why people would want to sit there only to hear repetition and more repetition.
I find myself wasting the same amount of time reading this website and all of the other info that I can get about it.
When will it all just go away?

i was raised one of jw.
before i was born my dad joined when two jws came to our house around the same time my grandpa (my dad's dad) died.
i remember my mom telling me that my dad took this very hard.
There are 3 reason that people join:
1: Born and raised in it.
2: Life crisis - drug or alcohol addiction, death of friend or family, poverty.
3: Crazy - don’t fit in with the rest of the world. (We all know who I am talking about at the KH)

this has been discussed ad nauseum on this board (you know, that 'circle of the earth' thing...), but i found this updated artwork of the ancient hebrew's view of the world wonderful.. you can get a huge hi-res version of it here.
.
Love it.

1st trip i was numb and just chilled.. 2nd trip was very, very difficult with many emotional outbursts and at one point, convulsions.. 3rd trip was very cool except for a brief emotional discharge that ended quickly.
i soon made up for it by taking wifey to a very expensive restaurant.
i felt at home this most recent time and i'm making plans for the next trip.
Some buddy's and I are thinking about going back in Dec.
