We are watching it. One of our favoriates. A Confession however, we used to watch it when we were "active" -- our kids (and so did we) loved it.
What would the "brothers" say?
my kids and i are watching "it's the great pumpkin, charlie brown".
it's nice watching something fun without the guilt, something my kids have never known.

i listened in to the conf call tonight.
one thing that i got from it was that apparently (and the wording might be a little wrong) is that elders or ms will be removed if they are going to college or university.
a person encouraging another to go to college will be removed as well.
By the way, we have learned that "home schooling" is sub-standard. It also does not equip our children with the social skills and the education to survive and prosper in our modern world.

Go Forth With Freedom! Do not stay as a slave! My daughter just turned 34 years old today and she is a 4.0 college student -- will receive her R.N. next year. Don't let anyone keep you from getting an education. In today's economic condition, everyone MUST continue on in their education. Even if it is "late" in life. We are happy we broke free! Community college is a great start.
i'm vacation and watched as my wife headed out for her piosneering this past monday...i was pissed, because i'm here, but she'd rather be out there, hawking the wares of the borg as a non-paid employee.
i stewed in the house for 3-4 hours, angry that i took vows with this woman, but she essentially is forsaking those vows for her "friends", when she knows i don't care for it.
well the tolerance finally wore off!
Opps, Sorry Reniaa.

Has anyone else noticed how Renaii has the ability to alter the course of a thread to direct it to herself? It then morphs into a lenthly discussion that I sometimes find tiresome and boring. Same old, Same old ...just my opinion.
i just received an email from an old friend (still in) who said that this new lifetime movie, which is a true story, is the actual story of a real life sister.
her name is barb.
the email included photos of barb at the premier with the stars of the movie.

Dumb ... and Dumber
cognac...... chapter 3 starting around point 12 "choosing our close associates".
I would love to hear how the "do unto others......" and "love your neighbor" fits into this.
None that I know of, however our Circuit Assemblies were held at the Masonic Temple in downtown Cleveland during the 50's. I guess they rented it out for other groups to use.

I was there in 58. I was 11. I remember taking the subway from our hotel. Coming back at night, scary, dark, late, with my grandmother. Someone threw a peach pit, at us? on the street? We were afraid and started running toward our hotel several blocks away. Did not go to the Polo Grounds, but stayed at the Stadium. I remember the long long line of portapots and drinking fountains.
