Even when the law of the land convicts them and puts them in jail the elders still consider they are innocent because the perpetrator deny it and there weren't two witnesses.
After rereading that part of your post it is finally making sense. Both of the child molesters we have in the hall right now say they did not do the crime and they were wrongly sent to jail. In my way of thinking that is just too crazy to believe. It the courts convicted them then they must be guilty but the elders do not see it that way in the least. There was not two witnesses to the crime even though the courts convicted them so the elders feel they are not guilty.
As far as telling me things in confidence this elder said "When I said that it was in confidence, I meant that it was intended as a communication between only me and you in order to assist you in understanding why a particular action was or was not taken, and to provide you with some background in the matter." Yeh he was trying to explaine to me why this child molester was taking care of babies when he told me this in confidence.
Like his telling me that the child molester did not do the crime and then when I backed this elder in a conner and asked him how he knew he did not rape the little girl he said in his email to me "I don't know that-- I don't' know one way or the other that is all I will say on this subject." Ok if he does not know then way was this elder and all the other elders letting this level 3 then down to level 2 sex offender hold the babies?
I shot back at him then if you did not know why did you allow him to hold children for four years and take them into the back room alone and outside alone. This elder said sister Very Stupid "these are issues that are not involved in trying to up build anyone spiritually, and are not appropriate for my comment in this email.
That is always the pat answer when they are backed into a conner. No wonder they wanted to put the blame on me but they couldn't because I was the one who was throwing the fit about the pedophile holding the children. They really just try to talk around thing. It just wears you down after awhile.
It is just really sick

Good point Lady Lee about confidentiality. I bought that up to this elder and all the elders. This elder told me he told me the only reason he told me confidential things was because I would not stop asking questions and I was wearing him down. I guess my asking and throwing a fit that child molesters were holding children was to much for him to handle. Made no sense to me other wise. Oh also the CO wanted me to take blame for this along with this elder. Blame for what? This elders keep emailing that I had to blame someone. Blame someone about what. Keep child molesters away for kids. There is no blame.
Interesting not one elder said a word about this elder telling me confidential things. Not one elder including the CO. Amazing

The same thing happened to me about smoking when I was a teenager. It really hurt to think the elders were so quick to try to find something against me. It bothered me for years that even though they knew me they were so quick to try to get rid of me. And I still feel they wanted to out of the truth because of my pedophile parents and they only wanted my parents in the truth not me. I think they could see the hand writing on the wall as to what would happen once I told what my parents were doing to me.

I Have A New Grandson But He's Very Sick :(
by minimus inhe was born yesterday with many complications including breathing problems, possible lung underdevelpment, anemia and body temperature issues.
the poor little guy was hooked up to a breathing tube and tons of monitors.
because the hospitals couldn't handle some of the problems, they sent him and my daughter to the best hospital in boston last night.

You make an excellent point about the word pedophile. We have two child molesters in our hall we had three at one point and like I have said no one was supposed to know. Definitely not any parents.
Well one of the child molesters who was in prison for 10 years and on parole for another 10 got totally mad at my husband. Now my husband does not have a lot of love for child molesters having seen how it has affected me from my being molested as a child. Well this psychopath child molester got mad at my husband for not being more of an elder to him. He asked to speak to my husband alone and my husband told him he just could not respect a man who raped his own daughter along with another child. This totally set the pedo off and he went to anther elder all ticked off at my husband for saying he raped his daughter which was a provable fact.
How I found out that my husband had said he raped his daughter was not from my husband but from the elder who the child rapist went to. Now this elder was totally mad, in fact mad is an understatement for how upset this elder was he was pissed at my husband. He told me that he would not ever stand for my husband to ever call anyone a rapist. That is when I asked my husband about it and my husband said I did not call him a rapist I said he raped his daughter which he did go to prison for.
This elder was so mad. He said no one would ever use the word rape to any brother. Well that is what this child molester did. He raped his own kid. How can you call it anything else.
How totally crazy is all of this. So if a brother murders someone or does arm-robbery or if God forbids he has oral sex with his wife what do the elders call all of these crimes.
Yes lady Lee from what I have seen with my own eyes they just want us victims to go away. vs77

Change the phrase "sexual abuse" to murder; or manslaughter; or armed robbery. I've always found it interesting that this two witness rule applies only to sexual abuse claims and no other alleged crime.
That is a excellent point. In my hall the elders were letting a level three who was dropped down to a level two sex offender take babies in the back room and outside alone. The elders had a stick policy that only elders could know who was a pedophile in the hall no parents were ever allowed to know so the parents of these children had not a clue that a sex offender was taking care of their babies. They just thought this brother was a wonderful helpful kind man.
When I found out I hit the roof. I was the one to get into huge trouble not the child molester for his holding children. I was called nothing but a per gossip, threatened with causing divisions in the hall, etc and was told this pedophile did not really do the crime. I went on the Internet and got his page with his picture printed off. I showed it to the elders. He served eight years in prison for rape of an child. They still claimed he did not do the crime. For the first four years we were in the hall this pedophile was holding children and doing what ever he wanted to do with babies.
The CO just told me a couple of weeks ago well he stopped holding children didn't he that is all you need to know. I was so mad. I started yelling at the CO. You have got to be kidding me, this child molesters was holding children and the only reason he stopped is because I found out when I was not supposed to have even known and that is the only reason he stopped otherwise he would still be holding children right now. And you feel that is OK.
I was thinking like you said BT what if he had murdered some people or if he had done armed robbery would the CO have said well he stopped that is all you need to know. He has not murdered someone for two years so he is fine. You are the one with the problem and you are the one who is causing the divisions.
The CO even said to me, how do you think you are making the child molester feel, you have made the whole hall aware of it by your emailing the elders, I was emailing asking for justice to be done to the children and I was only emailing the elders not the whole hall. The CO said the wives of the elders could very well read the emails and now the whole hall knows these men are child molesters. How do you think they the child molesters feel now that you have broad cast it to everyone?
Oh my God just writing this I am so pissed right now I have to stop otherwise I am going to explode.
This religion is so crazy I just want to scram.
Thank you Big Tex. You are and Flipper and Lady Lee for standing up to the pain that victims go through there whole life. I know that pain too well myself. Oh I am so mad. I have got to quit writing.

You are so right you have no friends in the witness world. Oh I could go on and on about this. When ever I brought this up to my husband he said I just needed to keep my blinders on and I am only serving Jehovah remember not men.
So many times I just wanted to scream. I have finally stopped going to the meeting after never and I mean NEVER missing meeting and you guessed it no one cares. They all treat me as being df'ed.
Amazing. No one wants to know why, they all just shun me. Feel the love
