  "I'm feeling down, I'm not faring well; I need help, please help me."

  today i remembered one of my disillusionment episodes, when i was going from rejection to rejection, and i was discovering the wide gap between spewing beautiful words and actually translating them into actions.. a few years ago, in my darkest hours of depression, it occurred to me to send the following sms to one of my closest friends in the congregation.

  i truly believed in her friendship and thought i could count on her.

  it was one of the very rare moments in which i was ready to put myself completely out there and pour my heart out to someone.

  Even tho the WTBTS emotes love and caring through the pages of the WT, it rarely will happen...... when you think you have so many loving brothers and sisters, it really means, they are there, they will smile, they will be friends when you are out in service with them but once you leave the hall, your on your own unless you are in a clicque.

  I look back and know that I was as much at fault as those today, thinking everyone was ok --not realizing that people were hurting and when the counsel was given for them to apply scriptural guidelines, it really was not enough. Many folks needed medical or emotional structure from qualified doctors. That is not anything anyone can do but you if needed but tend to your needs immediately. Just know that you are as special as anyone else so take care and look to interests that will enhance your life and well being..

  Building Work

  has there been anything in writing sent out to the elders, co's re the stopping of the "ww building work yet?.

  no one has mentioned anything at cong level but it has been mentioned about the bethelites being sent tot the field as of january - canadian bethel is being reduced by 40% and the ones remaining have been told they will have to do work themselves, i.e.

  food and cleaning.... .

No one has mentioned anything at cong level but it has been mentioned about the bethelites being sent tot the field as of January - Canadian bethel is being reduced by 40% and the ones remaining have been told they will have to do work themselves, i.e. food and cleaning....

  Anyone else hear this?

  Asking For More Money Again

  we had another letter read this week from the 'slave' that asked for more money again.. it asked for a resolution to be passed by all congregations in support of the circuit overseer to pay their expenses and medical expense was included in there.. a resolution was put on the floor and voted upon and agreed by show of hands that our congregation would send over $2,000 for the year 2016.. the society broke it down to how much it would be per year for each publisher but i do not remember what they suggested.. i was glad i was listening in and not present this week because it would have been obvious i did not support the resolution because my hand would not have been up when the attendance took a count.. has anyone here also had the letter read at their service meeting this week?.

  My mom passed away yesterday....

  thank you all for your sincere encouragement during these last few weeks.

  finally, she is at peace.

  i was with her , holding her hand when she died.

  As we grow older, we can realize that if you are in decent health, how said it is for one to die. I recently lost my aunt, who was 98 and was "ready" to go, Life for some is tragic but with you at her side, your mum was comforted in knowing you were there and it made the passing for her easier to bear, and they say that even if they are in a comatose state, there is a comfort in knowing that somehow those who are passing realize your presence.

  Another Resolution

  has anyone on the board been at the recent meeting where they are asking for more money to help out the co's, insurance and health and travel??

  this is supposed to go into a general fund???

  they can use it for anything they want..... oh, and also, if you can give more, it would help as many congregations may not be able to give - based on number of pubs in each cong.

  It was passed unanimously in our congregation as well, no one dares not to -- no one dissented can you imagine the feedback to not put your hand up........I wasn't there... I guess something told me not to go

  Oh, and also, if you can give more, it would help as many congregations may not be able to give - based on number of pubs in each cong. Don't quite understand if it is monthly or a yearly contribution -- remember, no plates passed at the hall like the churches do!!n Only give what you can at the back of the hall collection box AND yet, this is the fourth time I can remember they have been asking off the platform and giving Jehovahs blessing as you give- the guilt trip! and they will get it as they are taking it out of the contributions....

  Jehovah must be livid,, I know I am - Jesus did not have a place to lay his head, the apostles and Paul all worked for a meager living... the Watchtower buys the best of everything and has oodles of real estate holdings... some thing is definitely lop sided but the pubs say, "have to do it... the preaching work must be supported, and we need the Co's so we have to pay....its Jehovahs command...... "

  someone else answered the door.

  after they left i walked by our entry way and gagged from the smell!

  Not allowed in the hall here anyway... most halls clean with natural stuff, vinegar, scent free items, etc. Vinegar can clean and disinfect everything, from floors, to windows to toilets and mirrors - Wet wipes are used for door handles, railings and light switches...

  My Mom Is Dying

  i just wanted to say that my dear 89 year old mom is terminally ill and will soon pass.

  she is on morphine and hanging on.

  she has been a devout witness for about 60 years and a wonderful mother.

  Minimus: So sad to hear of her condition. I can only say that my dad was in her position and nothing they could do would help.... a passing filled with great grief.... regards, and thoughts to you and your family at this sad time..

  They are all wanting to speak like someone in charge, ever go to a talk and listen to someone who sounds like a brother from bethel - they all talk alike -- very monotone and robotic with some sort of funny way of talking

  Latest rumor - all WT construction "suspended", except for Warwick

  heard 4th-hand, but from a full-on believer, so not likely to be an "apostate lie":.

  apparently, at bethel's morning worship this morning, it was announced that all worldwide wts construction is "suspended" for an indefinite time, except for the new world headquarters at warwick.. also, the "relocation" of remote translating teams is also suspended.. finally, there will be a "worldwide" reduction in bethel personnel.. all this came to me in a non-english language, and,as noted, 4th-hand.

  so it is possible something may have been lost in translation and/or in the multiple steps between bethel morning worship & me.. but if true, it would be quite stunning.

  Anybody ever look at the plans for Warwick -- HUGE!!!! WHY??? Not needed...... Effem the US largest bar company operates a worldwide multibillion dollar empire from a small location... granted they do have production plants but nothing on the scale of the WT

  Who is going to produce all the books and mags if bethelties are leaving?? Who will feed the anointed? and their puppets, wash their clothes and clean the hallways and rooms and toilets?? Will this be outsourced?? and then the GB will ask for another $4.50 per head per congregation to support that expense..... that will be the fourth time I think along with all the monies they are garnering from the congregation accounts.......
