  i think the watchtower is a drug, its teachings designed to separate you from human society, .

  Not likely. The UN is impotent. I doubt that the UN will be around
  even for the rest of my lifetime.
  
  King of North vs. King of South. This sounded great in the 50s
  and 60s. Russia was big meanie then. Russia is losing population
  very fast which means it will have a hard time growing its
  economy. It still wants to be big and mean which is why it
  recently invaded Georgia. It is pretty clear that China will be
  the world's next superpower, again probably in my lifetime, mostly
  due to U.S. debt policy. 5 trillion, 10 trillion. Can you say 15 trillion
  by 2015.
  
  Governments turning on Religion. Not a chance. Every day the
  world becomes more non-religious. Religion will implode
  on its own, it won't need government to turn on it. This will
  happen very gradually over the next 200 years or so.
  
  Clay feet. The idea that the world will break up into lots
  of small warring states. Not likely. Europe is going in
  the opposite direction. I think China may decide to swallow
  North Korea. It may also try to absorb all of Southeast Asia.
  Just a guess. Improbable but possible, it swallowed Tibet
  after all.

  now i am 50 and the governing body is like 5 years older than me.

  I agree with you Carla. Men love to get rewards, they love respect.
  Self respect comes very hard for most men because most men
  compare themselves to other men in terms of material goods and
  most men can't afford a lot of material goods and even if they
  can they still want more.
  
  Its a penis size issue. My house is bigger than your house, my
  car fancier. Its in men's genes, they are nothing but great apes
  without as much hair.
  
  I got to carry the microphone, I am the assistant to the assistant
  literature servant. I ate it up when I was a JW. Boy, going to
  Bethel will kick that right out of you. You get an overdose of
  it there and generally just want to be left alone after a while.
  
  Never fear the lack of titles and goals that the Watchtower can
  come up with for men to strive for.

  My mother is totally addicted. My father wasn't, he knew it was total BS, but hung
  around the witnesses, well I'm not sure why he hung around the witnesses other
  than out of habit.
  
  They get kids and addict as many of them as possible. Total submersion addicts them
  better, so keeping them out of college and extra curricular activities keeps their brains
  doped up on the Society's drug.
  
  I wanna new drug, one that won't make me sick.

  owing to the abundant chatter about the "great tribulation" i started googling some things... anyway, there is a christian forum devoted to "end times chat", the current buzz is as follows:.

  the dow today is down 777. the bail-out is 700 billion.

  today at sunset was the beginning of the 7 year sabbatical cycle.. "7" is the number for completion and extremely significant throughout scripture.. it truly makes you wonder!!.

  well first off, i am mostly happy being single.

  i don't have this big desire to get married again, in fact i am kind of commitment shy now, and don't know how i ever would be able to function in a relationship again.

  but there are certain events and certain times of the year when i feel alone and would like a date.

  imagine you lived thru many, many false prophecies 1879......1914.......1918......1925 {when the other franz's gave up}.......1940's {rutherford said the fascist would start armagedon}..........and then you start you own false prophecy 1975........what is wrong with this man?

  he saw the damage this caused....the thousands that left in droves each time!

  yet before he goes senile he has one more crack at it, sending maybe 1.5 million brothers apostate??

  in this case, cheating CEO's of large banks profited
