i was wondering if i am considered one by the wt defintion.
i have never been a jw in my life but i disagree with their doctrine.
are all the "worldies" considered "apostates" or just the ex jws?

If Jesus Christ called you an apostate, then you are a confirmed apostate. Since YOU are 4Christ, I think you are on my side.

i explored a few options as i was coming out of the organization.
nominal christianity had no appeal except that it was without the policing and punishment of the jw's.
there was no open discussion still and i didn't agree with most of it.

this is something i've been puzzling over recently.
just for argument's sake, let's say that jesus did exist - was he murdered on a stake or on a cross?
this is puzzling me, because the only real research i've ever read on the subject was in wtbts publications, and since this is obviously a highly questionable source of documentation, i'd love it if someone here could point me to a scientific resource for finding out the truth about this...thx.... the earlier in the forenoon you take the sun bath, the greater will be the beneficial effect, because you get more of the ultra-violet rays, which are healing.

there has been much said about the watchtower saying that the end would come in 1975. i have never seen any evidence that the watchtower said the end would definitely come in 1975. if there was such evidence, there would certainly be little or no witnesses left today, i believe.
i do not believe that excuses the fact that they definitely put that idea in peoples heads.
i was 10 years old then.

Because a group had predicted 1975 to be the year of The Great Tribulation, many had suffered and lost faith in God totally. There was much sinned in causing so many to stumble. Only if the group had listened and obeyed the scriptures in Mark 13:32-33, we would had avoided so much sufferings.
"Concerning that day or the hour nobody knows, neither the angels in heaven nor the Son, but the Father. Keep looking, keep awake, for YOU do not know when the appointed time is." Mark 13:32-33.From the above scriptures, we are admonished not to set a date but to keep expecting that The Day of Great Tribulation will comes at any time. Even Jesus himself does not know the date, Only Jehovah himself knows. So it is wise on our part not to speculate on the date.

I think we shouldn't planned for a specific date, we should planned with an evarlasting life in view. Concerning the day of great tribulation, it is not our business to know. It is all in the bible, isn't it?
