Hello from new member DarthFader
by darthfader ini have been lurking in the shadows for a while now i just got my account from the fine administrators of this board.
i have really enjoyed reading the well thought out comments and critiques of the wts doctrine.. i have been around the wts since i was 5 i left for a while during high school got to live a little worldly/normal life then got sucked back in.
my wife has been raised in the truth and even though weve been inactive (for a while now), she still has thoughts about the earthly hope and seeing her grandparents some day.

Getting out was sad at first. I became introverted for the first time in my life, trying to figure out what I was going to do, what to believe in, and how to make friends outside. I am an outgoing person and usually happy. My former husband had his freedom from the Borg a few years earlier. He was ready to do everything he had wanted to since he was in for almost 30 years. I gave him plenty of room to express himself and explore. The marriage ended. Now I am really learning how to live on my own for the first time in my life since the divorce. I am at peace with myself and my life right now. Don't have to cook or clean for anyone but me and my house is taking shape with my personality, finally. I am looking forward to my birthday this year, soon. I had my first Christmas tree this past year, it was lovely. I regained my family, and his family are still very nice to me. Everyone was so happy we left the dubs. I have made new friends where I live and gained a better outlook on my freedom. I am almost to the place I want to be that I can say I am happy. Still have some days that I grieve over the loss of my best friend and husband. Have been spending more time by myself to get comfortable with it and it works. Welcome to all the new ones on here who are just getting started with their posting. It is good to move on with your new life.

I forgot to mention our website is on Facebook for S.A.V.E. Join up if you like. Some are vegatarians! I have been known to be one before but do eat fish again. I miss a steak every once in awhile and those chickens! I can remember as a child my mother fixed rabbit and I couldn't figure out what it was and when I found out I got sick. She never did that again.

I am against it. I belong to local group S.A.V.E. Saving Animals Via Education. A bunch of us are going down to see our Congressman to tell him we don't want slaughter houses in Tennessee. Most of these horses are just being killed for the meat to sell it to countries that eat it. That seems very wrong to me. Thank you all for your posts.

Been to both New Zealand and Australia. Both so beautiful and fun to be in. The Aussie ladies are leggy and tall that I remember. I wasn't too comfortable there with all of them around. Let's not say anything about the topless beaches. Women are not the same in NZ except the city girls were good looking. Too much to see in both places, need to take lots of pics of the lovely country sides. Was married when I was there and hubby and I were in love, then.

Today at the meeting we got a gift from Jehovah!

Appointed by Holy Spirit my a$$! We have all seen good elders get run over by the sucky ones. We have heard stories about the elders meetings where they gang up on someone and NO ONE stands up for the one being torn down. We have seen the down trotten when they return to meeting and then he won't even get called on for a wt answer. It smells big time to see this happening to your friend. Hope he sees it for what it really is, keep us posted. Give him a nudge towards the outside if possible.
