me, i cannot wait to just get outside and work in the yard..

Going to the Fox and the Hound for suds, wine, pool, and food with twenty friends. Hope I get to meet some guys over 5' 5" tall. Mostly going for the fun, don't really shoot pool well. Hope the rain stops tomorrow.

it seems to be an issue that some have after leaving the witness cult because none of us were ever made to feel we were " good " enough or "valued " enough for what we were trying to accomplish in the cult.

growing up i had pounded into my head by my jw elder father what jesus said, " after doing all things remember you are good for nothing slaves , what we have done is what we ought to have done.

" then i thought to myself - " where's the joy in that ?

My self esteem is always being worked on by me since leaving the Borg and last year my divorce. I know I am a good person who tries not to hurt anyone. I love being with other people who treat people like this. Mean people are not part of my world right now. Toxic people need to stay away and leave me alone.

I did forget about someone I am still in contact with that lives in New Hampshire. I have known her for 32 years. Watched her get married have two beautiful kids and move away to help her mother when her father died. She lives in her mom's house now with her son & his girlfriend, her daughter still in high school and her loyal husband. I will go see them this summer in July or August not sure yet. It gets too hot down here then. I did forget about her. She and her hubby left over 15 years ago. I looked them up when I left. They were still at the same phone number. Told them about COC book and they read it. She was relieved to know why she did not go back. They are great friends that are true friends. Baba you made my brain work. Thanks.
