I would like to tell the Governing Body:
Absolutely nothing.
Ignoring them is better. If I had to tell them anything, I would ask them to die already. You're old, crotchety, and delusioned. If you are speaking for god, may he strike me dead.
we assume that they or their dupes read this forum, or parts of it, right?
address your comments to them.
do so kindly, and respectfully, remembering that it is their religion, and they can run it like they like.

dear members.
if you could commit the perfect crime and not be caught;.
would you commit it?against who?feel any remorse?thanks.
I have no one on my hit list.
I already buried them.
fyi, tomorrow night on vh1 there is a program honoring the who.
i'm a massive townsend fan.... "long live rock!
".
Saw the Who tribute on VH1 night before last. I thought the Pearl Jam performance was awesome! Man, can Eddie Vedder scream or what!?
The Who played a great live set at the end, and Pete Townsend was great with all of the windmill chord strikes. The whole band rocked hard, and I recorded all of it. Who was playing drums though? He did a good job.
my peer group (post-1975 born-in jws) seems to approach the jw religion in a different manner than earlier generations.
now, these folks still believe the wts is "the truth" and if you say anything that sounds "apostate" they start freaking out.
but, make no mistake, these jws are not your parents' witnesses.
This is deffinately different than the crowd I broke all the rules with in the mid 90's. I remember one that went back and became an MS. But it seems the people you know were really faking everything. I have little respect for people like that.
Jehovah's Witnesses that lie and act like the people you describe, are worthless fakers and only hang around because they are afraid to lose JW family or friends. They are the lowest of the low.

That is a longshot buddy.
Actually, it is totally false and untrue. Who the hell posts with a video anyway?
everytime i talk to someone about praying they say that they pray all the time.
talk to god whenever they can.
well i'm just the opposite.
Jaguarbass, you are not the only one who feels the need to pray about things in your heart.
It is something I too was brought up with and it still influences my mind at times. I know that guilt plays a big part in it, and if you have family members in the "truth" it makes it worse.
Being aware of the falsehoods in the WTS doesn't free you. I don't know what does. But over time you will get over the praying before a meal and other demanding thoughts will go away. If you find yourself leaning towards another Christian Religion, know that it will be hard to accept. And for good reason. You will have to accept the Trinity, Hell, and a belief that Jesus was God on Earth. Too far a stretch for me to agree with. But you have your own mind and don't let it be polluted by lies and false hopes. Use logic and things will make sense.
But you must be strong and accept what your own logic tells you. What it is only you know.
Ohhh.... What a tangled web we weave when we choose to decieve.
Sometimes the lie is better than the truth. Sometimes believing a lie is more comfortable than truth.
"People will believe anything because they either want it to be true, or are afraid it is." Terry Goodkind.
just wanted to say, "i love you!
" to everyone!.
(hey, it's friday ... i'm in a good mood!
Ahhh....
True fellowship. Nothing like having a beer with friends. I love you too man.
here in lovely phoenix, az there's a part of me that's tired of phoenix's one redemable feature (reasonable housing prices) and dismiss the cacti, hot temps, lackluster football teams, golfing culture and predominance of fake people with orange tans and..... ... live in a nice bungalow on a country road, havin' a truck with a gun rack, a (rainbow) confederate flag, cranking up some nice soothing wanda jackson, grow myself a big booshy moustache, wear a denim vest, get myself a bassett hound and sit on a front porch in my rocking chair while whispering to myself "it's good to own land.".
for those of you that live in the deep south... or just the regular south.... how's it treating you?
i may consider a change in living arrangements.. - preston.
Come to West Virginia, Wild and Wonderful. (Previous State Motto). Now we have "Open For Business".
WV is beutiful and sometimes rugged. Very Rural in most parts. Has a little "South" in it and a little "North". The term "Redneck" came from the Miner Rebellion in WV over 100 years ago. You will find Rednecks here for sure. Supposedly it ranks in the top 10 of most College educated people per capita. I've met some myself.
I moved here from Upstate NY and like many things about WV. The unemployment rate and lack of jobs is not one. That is the trade off for living in a rural mountainous state with great trout fishing streams and the Monongahala National Forest.
Mr. Majestic likes the South part of England. I never have been there, but it sure sounds nice!

I pray when I have a really bad hangover.
