Has anybody ever listened to his show? I have came across him on a couple of trips on the highway and shows like his make for good comedic entertainment, especially the people who call in.

they've put it on this van that "the bible guarantees it", so it must be true!.

by the max inthe german film starring bruno ganz as hitler, charts hitlers descent into madness and paranoia, as he looses touch with reallity at the end of ww2,surrounded in the furher bunker in berlin, (bethel) a maniac loosing touch with reallity, gives orders and edicts, that evreyone ignores,(they all recognise he has , gone mad, yet no one dare aknowledge it through fear) the only way to find out the truth about what is really happening in germany, is to listen to the allied radio broadcasts(in our day the intrernet) hitler and nazis warned that anyone caught listening to these radio stations should be executed immeadiatley, gb are nazis, and at one time i would have defended them to the point of death, why are they scared of scrutiny ?
the internet ?
if they (we) for some of us have the truth, what is there to be affraid off ?.

I think new converts need something like this in their lives for some reason or another. Maybe they need the comfort of a high control group. It is like they are mentally deficient in someway, not to be construed as mentally challenged, and they have found what they need mentally to cope.
I have seen it to younger people accepting the WTBTS doctrine and all of this other info is out there to preview before making the jump.
To some up, I think it just fills a need for some poeple and so they submit to it.

How do i tell them im no longer interested in being a JW?
by TimothyT inhi everyone.. iv been a jw for 3 years and iv been attending meetings since i was young!
im now 23. i have recently accepted that im gay and id now like to leave the organisation.. im trying to do things bit by bit, and i wanted to ask you all for some advice and ideas.. personaly, at the moment, id rather just phase myself out than hand in a letter of dissasociation - although i likely will arrive at that point within the next 6 months or so.. i have been quite well known in my congregation as a serious, kind and spiritual young man, and at the moment, im attending less and less meetings and not going out on the ministry as much.. i keep getting constant calls from elders asking about me and wondering where i am.
i understand their concern but its a little annoying, and unlike the majority of you here, i just couldnt tell them to get lost or to leave me alone as its just not who i am.

Just tell them that you are depressed and burned out and need to take some time off to regroup.

It is almost like the term Governing Body is to holy to be mentioned by anyone other than them and if you do then you are "an apostate" anybody else pick-up on that?

July 15th WT out - Coming out Swinging at Apostates Hard
by LostGeneration inthis is one of the most aggressive watchtowers i think i have ever read.. four study articles on not "following the crowd" not following unrealities(page 13) not following false teachers, meaning apostates of course(p 15).
avoiding false teachers means "refusing to read their literature, watch tv programs that feature them, examine their web sites, or add comments to their blogs.
(para 7, pg 16).

Maybe, just maybe they will change the doctrine of "the separating work" again. Maybe the GB is now the body that will separate the sheep from the goats here in the visible organization.
Jesus has recently been put in his place as a mere tool of God and they of course assumed the role as mediator.
This article is a filter, designed to flush out the true goats and keep the visible organization clean.

April "Pioneers" - a large army
by dozy inanecdotally , from my ( rapidly diminishing number of ) jw contacts , it does seem that the april 30 hour pioneer campaign is going well.
some congregations have over 1/2 the publishers on the pioneer list for april , including all the elders & ms. .

I think it will just lead to another quick burn out on the part of the r&f. They'll be high on the rhetoric for awhile then just burn out. It would have been better to just leave things as they were.
