  I again find myself in that position that I'm hoping for a guy to text me or call me back...will he?

  What's wrong with me?? Am I just starving for love and affection. I don't consider myself to be desperate. I'm (usually) a happy 35 y old former JW single who's finally able to have fun, meet and date guys!

  We had a great time and a nice date but I left the ball in his court since he felt more insecure than I...(and I'm determined not to contact him before he does)

  Why do I get so attached to someone so fast and already now feel how hurt I will be if I don't hear from him again...??

  Jeezuz! Help!!

  having grown up in 'the word' in a very loving and normal family, certain aspects of the truth never really sat right with me.

  as an impressionable 17 year old, the things i was learning during my study seemed bizarre & in many ways, just not right.

  but i swallowed it all eventually.

  Wise words indeed...every day it amazes me how they can still fool 7 million people!!!! and yes I think there are quite a few who are trapped in the cult mostly coz of family

  Why does the media leave JW alone?

  largly, i found over the years, the media seldom runs stories on jws.

  sure there is the odd sensation in a paper about a child not having blood or something or some brief mention.. why has the media not got hold of the child abuse situation?

  with the mainstream church's in australia and globally, they had a field day.
