have moved on from all things jw from my former life it seems.. just an announcement to whomever it may concern that melita jaracz, surviving wife of form governing body member theodore jaracz, has finished her earthy course passing away yesterday.. simon, i don't know if you're still involved, but this site was invaluable to me when i was leaving the org.
some years back.. thank you and all the others who have me guidance that i needed at the time.
It was discribed to family this way;
'.........she's just boarded a train and is in the sleeping car. When she 'wakes up' the new system will be here......'
glad I could never seem to sleep on trains anywhere in the world.....

I understand what you're trying to do and agree with your thoughts......but in a public on-the-street confrontation you kind of come off looking as fanatical as the J-Dubs do.
And as a deisfellowshipped ex-witness I would not direct anyone to the six screens of the watchtower site. #1. Rick Ferron is a nut and 2. it's such a scary badly produced site that doesn't make a lot of sense.
In my 8 years out of the "truth" I've found that so few people really know anything about the JW's and MOST DO NOT CARE is some of us were ever stupid enough to be a JW. I was born in and used to use that as an excuse that I didn't really have a choice. But you know I really did have a choice....LEAVE.

i used to listen to all the stupid comments and wonder if i could sneak out of there and scram!
even after i resigned as an elder, i went for a while and eventually began missing more and more meetings.
but while i was there, i'd listen to comments, chuckle to myself how dumb it all was and then go home with the knowledge that my days were numbered there..
Planning out my business week on my palm pilot [haha]making out like i was doing the sound at the back of the hall.
Checking out any of the hot single and married women....the best was as a mic handler in the summer....looking down the front of all of the low cut outfits of the sisters. Some really hotty hot women out there in the flock.
our friend, oompa, has passed away.
just recieved the news a couple of hours ago, and have almost no details.
it happened today or yesterday, he took his own life.
Very sad that he would take this route.....but I know what he was feeling myself being df'd.....suffered in the past from depression and now a grateful recovering alcoholic.

i got divorced from my jw wife, of 25 years, after living with another woman for almost 1.5 years [knew her for 3 years] .
the divorce that was my doing was last dec. 06. the divorce went through but all the financial settlements have yet to be agreed on.
