dub is an expression used on here to refer to JW's.

The "feel good" thread
by StoneWall inwhat are some things you are looking forward to doing that really make you feel good?.
i got the brakes all changed on our mountain bikes(bicycles not motorcycles) yesterday so i'm hoping the weather.
holds out so we can go biking later on today.. since it's now the month of may, later on this month looking forward to grilling out,camping, hiking, boating and various.

Terry if this was under the members only sections instead of the public "friends" threads it may have had more pics
by now. Just my observation. Many don't want to be outed by having their pics on the public side and yet will often
post them under the member only sections. I can understand the reasoning since any casual passerby perusing this site
would have access to it then.

What about the principle of practicing what you preach?
Why is it said to us to continue to love our enemies and to turn the other cheek, yet when the big Armageddon
hits (if it's real) then doesn't that show that both Jesus and Jah didn't continue to love their enemies?
Matthew 5:44 "However, I say to YOU: Continue to love YOUR enemies and to pray for those persecuting YOU" [NWT]
What sense are we to take the word continue to mean? Perpetually? And if they (God and his son) can run out
of patience with their enemies then wouldn't it follow that we can too since we are 'evidently' created in their image?

I just had my first child
by daniel-p inbaby girl, 6 lbs, 14 oz, 19-3/4in, looks like me they say.... still in awe... there were some complications, but mom and baby are doing good.
baby's down the hall in nicu and it still doesn't feel real.. .

Just remember as the years tick by and that baby becomes a teen, you'll have some ups and downs but if you reflect
back on this day and how she made you feel it will keep everything in perspective.
Glad to hear mom and baby are both doing good.

I think of it like this:
If a woman wants to remove hair from under her arms, legs or unwanted facial hair then why should she be restricted
from removing it from other parts of the body? Sounds like a no-brainer.
Her body so make it the way she feels best about it.
On a more personal note I have to admit it was nice when one used their artistic talents and put my initials in the
small area that was left over. It gave the landing strip that personal touch. :)
I found out there is some really creative girls in the world.

The evidently thread
by JeffT insince the term "this generation" evidently means "two generations" i think we should have our discussion of things that are evidently true.
