we have known for only a few centuries that the earth rotates on its axis and orbits around the sun along with a number of other planets, more recently that the solar system is located in a radial arm of a spiral galaxy swirling around some enormous black hole.
But getting back on topic, when I first saw the thread title I thought it was referring to written/oral laws.
Now I know its dealing with physical/scientific laws being broken according to opening post.
So I'll go with the manna from heaven.
Imagine how many laws of the known universe would have to be broken in order for that to take place.
For bread from heaven to fall from the sky, when normally it's only precipitation of some form(whether it be rain,sleet,snow etc.)

That is kind of a moot point because the same thing could be said about various other groups as well. Take the Amish for instance. The ones I've read about and heard about don't believe in going to war, are hard working peaceful people,help each other with barn raisings etc. Also unlike witnesses, they don't drive cars(as well as other things) so the point could be made that they produce less pollution for the enviroment.
So in the same sense that you are referring to feeling safer if everyone was a J.W., I'd have to say there are many others out there that I would feel just as safe if not safer around if the entire world was like them.
genesis 6: 1, 2 - 1 when human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of god saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.. so angels are only attracted to female humans.. anyone else find this extremely telling?.

I've never seen an "Angel" of the bible as far as I know, but all the angels I've seen have all been female.
Ever time I see one of those Victoria's secret commercials on T.V. they are all female and I'm the happier for it. They have nice wings. :)

If they're all wrong and yet testify to seeing and experiencing the same things(space men), could the same be said of the other people who "hear god", feel his presence or have their prayers answered?

only open if you are willing to accept the consequences.. when my gf went to buy the board many people warned her about it, even the cashier shake the head and told her that she would never bring that game into her house.. so we played, we invoked the spirits, we even called god.

I was only able to see the first part of your video (demons musta kept me from seeing the rest) but it reminded me of some of the Blair Witch footage.
I found it very "Halloweenish" in line with this time of year here in the states.
Also I was only able to see a still image of a girl (I'm assuming is the one laughing in background).

We all hope that. I guess it all depends on what you consider your hour of need. Many people have died and suffered greatly from everything from earthquakes, tornadoes,tsunami's,hurricanes and volcanoes to deadly and debilitating illnesses such as cancer,AIDS, strokes,heart attacks,Lou Gerrits disease(ALS) and many more too numerous to list all while many of them were crying out to God for help.
my wife and i have not even been df'd for a week and an old friend on fb (an inactive jw who has active jw friends who used to be friends of mine) says there's a rumor going around that i'm gay.

This is a just one of the reasons why I think its a great idea to put a notice in the local newspaper (if you know for a fact you're going out, DF or DA) just to put the local rumor mill to rest. Maybe say something along the lines of;
Just wanted all my family and former acquaintances to know the reason I'm no longer going to be a J.W. is I couldn't put up with the BS,lies,contradictions and misrepresentations coming from headquarters any longer. If you wish to remain that is your prerogative, but I value truth and facts over the constantly changing doctrine of men that make it up as they go along up there in Bethel HQ. I have no ill will against any of you personally but wanted to set the record straight to why I'm leaving.

As I've stated on other threads...who came up with this notion that demons/spirits inhabit inanimate objects? (Such as a Ouija board, picture etc.)
Even back as a JW when I read in the bible about demons and them possessing something it was always animate creatures, in essence a herd of swine,a man called Legion etc.
Has anyone ever came across a scripture discussing a object being demonized?
I've looked for Ghosts,demons,angels all my life and you know how many I've found? As of todays date...ZERO
I can remember being a youngster and all the stories being circulated about the D&D books(Dungeons and Dragons).
Oh they're demonized some would say. When I asked anyone how they knew this, it always got back to the ole story of a "friend told me about something that happened to one of their friends" (not even second hand information) that experienced it.
So they were basically saying the reason they "knew" it was demonized isn't from self-experience, but because a freind of a friend said it was.
Just for the record, I played D&D for years and never had one demon show up or not one bad occurence happen to any of the guys/girls that also played in our group. No suicides, no killing of parents, no casting of spells on others. Just a highly imaginative game to go on a made-up,ficticious adventure without damaging any real/living creatures. And we slayed many dragons in our quests ,just for the record.
