  I just had a a few long island iced tea's and that has given me the courage/strength to finally set the record straight.

  You are all wrong

  It wasn't Michael that messed with those kids...It was his little chimpanzee companion.

  Michael was covering for him so they wouldn't take away his chimp since he already lost his pet Boa and giraffe and

  many other of his exotic pets. He was suffering severe depression trying to figure out how to keep his chimp from

  being carted off and put behind bars in a zoo. Does anyone remeber his Chimps name? Wasn't it like bubbles or something/

  Has being a JW effected your ability to make or keep friends?

  michael jackson has been quoted as having no friends.

  some here would like to blame his jw upbringing.. being a exjw, do you have trouble making and/or keeping friends?.

  All this blame game going on and no one ever stops to ask well what about the parents who did allow their little sons

  to stay with a 30 or 40 year old man. What does that tell you about them? Do you consider them fit parents?

  Even without the celebrity status what parent allows their 10 year old to go stay with a grown man that is not in

  any way shape or form related to the man.

  And don't stop there. Why when the detectives busted thru his doors at neverland ranch and basically raped his home

  from top to bottom did they not find any clear evidence of wrong doing? Why does neither of his ex-wives have anything

  to say about him being a child molester or believing him to be. I think Lisa Marie woulda said something if she thought

  he was a molester. She had nothing to lose or gain financially cause she has her Elvis fortune to bank on.

  There are many things that don't add up on closer inspection of the so-called evidence. I'm not saying that

  he was totally innocent but also as others have pointed out follow the $$ signs. I've not got much use for a parent

  that will settle for a monetary settlement if they really believe their child was molested. First you get the creep behind

  bars so no others can be hurt by them then you go for the monetary damages which you will get anyhow after the

  conviction. You NEVER let someone who you feel is guilty get away and be allowed to do it again to another innocent

  child.

  That is a very interesting collage you put together Jimmy.

  Through his different photos I can see it appears he tried to be happy and wanted to be happy but as he got

  older you can see in some of them that he musta at times felt like he had the weight of the world resting on his

  shoulders. All that pressure of always trying to keep his fans happy and the media content had to take a toll on him.

  We can only imagine what he and others go thru to try and keep some of their appointments with the hectic

  schedules. It was hard for me when I was going to the KH to try and get there on time for the meetings after working

  all day. When I heard about how long some of these entertainers have to train with their cast and crews and sometimes

  put in 18+ hour days no wonder many of them get on drugs. I guess its true about what cost fame.

  mmmmmm turkey meat slices laid in a bed of brown rice with a light layer of barbeque sauce and tobasco sauce

  garnished with 4 slices of jalapeno, one each at North,East,West and South of plate while ever so gently applying

  two very thin sliced tomatoes across the top with just a hint of black pepper and a pinch of sea salt.

  Death Should Always Equal Reflection

  and this thread isn't about farrah fawcett, unless you want it to be...... helluva week at work, just checking in, and am not surprised that a former jw, the most famous one perhaps, has caught our attention.

  i was headingto a baseball game after work thursday, and turned on the radio to thriller, then billie jean, in a row.

  i knew something wasn't cool about that.

  Very nice Opening post ATJ.

  It is a time for reflection for me as well since back in the 80's when he was at his peak, I was going to the C.A.'s

  and D.C.'s and thinking how different and distinct his music was.

  So many times after these large gatherings of witnesses we would go out to restaurants or bar/grills and enjoy

  ourselves while listenig to MJ's music over their speakers. Always sparked a conversation about him being

  associated in some way with the witnesses.

  I had some very fond memories with some sisters while listening to his music. (nothing sexual at the time just good,clean fun)

  Many of the brothers and sisters in our area went together and seen the Victory tour. I know of at least 4 Elders at the

  time that went.

  after the autopsy is done, the body is to be shipped to the lego factory.

  ...yeah, they are going to melt him down into legos........ .

  I'm not pretending anything....just saying their son's not even in the grave yet.

  They mighta even thought some of these jokes were funny as I do a while back....but it goes back to decency and

  respect for peoples pain.

  But to each their own because I sure ain't going to force my opinion on anyone because at the end of the day that

  is what it is, just an opinion.

  I'm with Purplesofa on this one..

  There does appear to be a time and place for everything and I really don't think now is the time to crack jokes.

  What if it was your son,father,brother,cousin etc.

  Now is a really emotional time for them and if any of MJ's family or friends do come across this thread I hope you

  realize that some may feel a need to joke to either deal with this or make themselves feel better for their shortcomings

  but it does not represent all of us that post on this forum.

  My heart does go out to the family because I too lost a Uncle not long ago and the hurt and sadness is still there.

  No matter what we individually thought of Michael as a person may we all realize that his family is still dealing with

  his loss.

  As I told an Elder in my congregation about a DF person's funeral....there family still was going to the meetings and

  they need support irregardless of what they thought of the DF individual.

  AK-Jeff Amazing letter and so true in so many regards. I too used to be one of those that would judge people who

  left without even giving them an opportunity to explain why.

  In school they teach you to learn by asking questions: Who,What,When,Where,How and my favorite question WHY?

  But as far as those who quit associating with the org I would just accept others explanation that they had turned

  apostate without giving the individual the benefit of the doubt or simply asking them in person why?

  I could have learned so much more at an earlier age just by simply asking that question more often of individuals as well

  as the organization instead of someone saying well that isn't to be questioned.

  But be that as it may this letter of yours does me good to see even now because it reinforces what I've already found

  out, that the broad brush the society uses to paint all apostates as evil,liars,workers of injurious things,drunkards,

  gluttons,idolaters,selfish etc. was just another of the things in which they were wrong.

  I've seen more love shown on this board from strangers (such as when someone dies,goes into hospital, or going

  through a divorce or other hard time) than I seen at the kingdom hall in quite sometime.

  That is just my personal observation, others may have seen differently.

  Anyways hope all are doing good as well as doing good to others.
