  Why Do people think they need A GOD to be good people?

  i decided after much study and soul searching that i dont believe in god.

  ive noticed recently (not on the forum but others) some people seem to think that if i dont believe in a god that im obviously morally bankrupt.

  i dont feel this way as i give a portion of my income to charity and i have never set out to harm anyone else.

  Plain and simple answer....you can't have GOOD without GOD. If you take GOD out of GOOD it leaves you with just O.

  Sorta like this: G O O D

  and if you say O God then you've used all 4 letters again but in the wrong sequence.

  Hope this has cleared up any confusion about why its important to have god in good.

  if you ever been to radio shack, you would notice how relatively small the store is.

  yet according to advertisements and sales associate suggestions, they have in the store everything that you will need which is electronic related.

  they have all the answers for your technological wants simply put, or is this really the case.

  Going to Myrtle Beach,S.C. for a few days vacation....Anyone happen to be over that way?

  here are close by there and would like to meet up for drinks,eats or just be beach bums for a bit.. .

  Just worn out

  i thought it best i stay a lurker.

  it's just right now, i'm going through some doubts and just plain discouraged.

  sometimes, trying to do everything just wears me out, and i feel like i'm suffocating.

  Dear Emptyinside,

  Just wanted to start off with saying I can relate to the handle you have chosen to use on here.

  I would dare say that at some point in all our lives we have each felt empty inside. The good thing is tho that

  something always comes along to fill that empty spot/space. It might take hours,days,weeks, months or longer

  but when something comes along to fill that void we feel so refreshed. And it will happen.

  Sometimes if we don't like our current situation then it is good to do a self analysis or an inventory of ourself and

  see what is it that we can change to improve our lot in life. If every day we get up at 8:05 a.m. and miss the bus then

  soon we realize that we need to adjust our clock to wake up earlier. I know this example is over simplifying something

  which is much more complex, but the point is there is always things we can change to get a different outcome.

  Everyone deserves a good companion/partner in life and you are no different. Even in Genesis it talks about that it was

  not good for the man to continue alone. So what you describe is very much a part of our make-up.

  I'm glad you decided to do more than just be a lurker. Just think that is one small step of change already.

  Who knows what changes are in store for you in the near future? It can be a most pleasant journey if you let it be.

  Just don't try to absorb everything all at once. Take your time and always do as the scriptures in the bible tells

  us, "Make sure of all things hold fast to what is fine."

  And as Jesus said you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. If something is true it will have the ring of truth to it

  no matter who says it.

  Just hang in there and don't give up. We will be rooting for you.

  Who REALLY is the Faithful and Discreet Slave?

  last night i had the privilege of posting about a scripture that corroborated a vision i was given by our lord.

  during that post, i was also directed to reiterate the identity of the true faithful and discreet slave, our lord, jaheshua mischajah:.

  very thought provoking and informative thread.

  A little on the eerie side tho especially if you didn't read my thread titled almost word for word the same as this

  about a day earlier.

  I agree with many of your correlations of scriptures dealing with Jesus being the Faithful and discreet slave.

  For about the last 3 months I've been researching much regarding Jesus and his being referred to as God's servant.

  Something clicked in me that maybe Jesus was referring to himself in this instance since the majority of the rest of the

  twenty-fourth chapter of Matthew was all about Jesus.

  And as you have pointed out there is more than a few parallels in the story of Joseph and Jesus being the Greater Joseph.

  bluecanary there is a good many of us from N.C. (and it seems from the ones I've talked to spread all across N.C.)

  So the odds are some of us are just a few hours drive from you depending on your location.

  Some of the ones that I remember being from N.C. are Oompa, Robert 7,new light for you, RedRedRose, TimBob.

  I know there are many more.

  I mention the ones I listed because its in their profiles or their bio's and I'm assuming by that they won't mind.

  I'm setting here studying my Road Atlas and looking at the border between Va. and N.C.

  I bet from what you descibe that there's not a long distance between your locale and mine. I just ain't at liberty to say

  where I'm at currently due to the Witness protection program....heeheee (J.W. protection program that is)
