My Daughter Just Graduated From College!

she was about 13 or 14 when i first started having serious doubts about the wts.

when i informed her of my doubts a couple years later, she took the information and ran with it.... she never looked back.

i told her she could be whatever she wanted to be if she only worked hard enough.

I agree with hubert on this about loving happy endings.

And in this case a happy beginning as well since she will be starting her next chapter of life after college. WE have heard so much negativity while in the clutches of the WT that it is so refreshing to hear truly good news about people. And once again this just goes to prove how wrong the WT society was everytime they would say from the platform how those who leave the "safety" of the WT don't amount to anything and are never happy. Or either they turn to crime,prostitution drugs etc. This is just one more slap in their face and hopefully many more will see what has happened in the case of your daughter and follow suit.

Congrats and if I was near you in person I'd give both you and your daughter a big ole StoneWall hug for a job well done.

One day you may also get the great honor of seeing your grandkids Graduate college.

That is if Armageddon doesn't hit by 2012,2025 or any of the numerous dates that more doomsday cults,sects and individuals are picking.

Seems with these uneducated ones the more things change, the more things stay the same with them.

Gotcha. Makes total sense to me. Next time someone asks where I was and why I didn't personally help out, I'm going to use this line of reasoning. There was no need for me. Everyone else was working in my behalf.

I've asked myself that many times. Why not Jesus Witnesses since if anyone buys into the new light theory and it gets

brighter,then why go back into the old testament to pick a name when in the new testament Jesus plainly points out

that his disciples would be witnesses of him to the most distant part of the Earth.

Acts 1:8(NWT)"but YOU will receive power when the holy spirit arrives upon YOU, and YOU will be witnesses of me both in Jerusalem and in all Ju·de′a and Sa·mar′i·a and to the most distant part of the earth.”

Then again in Rev.17:6(NWT)"And I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the holy ones and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus.

Plus if it was by divine providence that his disciples were called "Christians", then why would we need any other name since this one was already provided by God?

Acts 11:26(NWT)"and, after he found him, he brought him to Antioch. It thus came about that for a whole year they gathered together with them in the congregation and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.

So it's not enough that God loves you, you feel you should force God to love those he choses not. Sounds like you want to take that freedom from God. Do you love everyone?

You know taken at face value, the above words sound a lot like the one point in the opening video where he was

quoting Jesus saying to "Love your enemies" and yet many will try to find a workable solution around that part.

I guess I'm just saying it appears to say almost the same thing, just re-worded a bit.

i thought this was funny coming from a sitting president.. even though the majority of the time obama seems to try to display a passive, or easygoing way with his words.

Are we meant to perfect on understanding Bible prophecy?

No we are just meant to use our brains that either creation or evolution gave us.

Either way it got here it is still meant to use. It's not in our heads to just fill empty space.
