Likability is one thing with Joe, Liking someone doesn't equate to a good leader.
When dementia gets worse which it will in the next few years how could we know he would remember the codes if needed for the launch case. What if he can't remember the name of who he's suppose to get in touch with in a critical situation or emergency? He's already shown that in the above video and with dementia it only gets worse over the next few years.
But even putting aside the forgetfulness lets go back about 40 years and trust him with his own words when he says he does dumb things and will continue to do dumb things in the future. I take him at his words on that. Not leader material. He amy get elected but I hate it for all of us that it comes down to either him or Trump to be honest but at this point since Trump hasn't started any new wars while in office and economy was booming until this 'virus" I'd have to go with Trump over Biden.
Here's the vid on Biden over 30 years ago when he got caught and had done some "dumb" things.
It's just under a minute but well worth the watch because i take him at his word that he's going to do more dumb things.

As I've said before if the Dem's really were serious about unseating Trump why would they put Joe Biden against him. Even though I admit Trump has said some things that left me scratching my head trying to figure out what he meant it pales in comparison to what has been happening to Joe Biden. I really think Joe is getting dementia and I say this not to be mean but I had a member of family develop dementia and Joe is displaying all the same traits.
How can anyone watch this 17 minute video and think he is a viable candidate is beyond me.

I may have finally figured out why some today think we are responsible for what others did centuries ago....it's in the bible
by StoneWall inwe all know how adam and eve are supposedly responsible for selling all of mankind into sin and thus becoming "slaves to sin".so what they did (if it's not a fairy tale) affected all of the humans that would come after them.then at exodus 34:7 it goes on to show the sins of the father being passed down to the third and fourth generations7 "keeping lovingkindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; and that will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation.
" (asv)even though i no longer look to the bible or regard it as i once did, i'm just trying to figure where some in today's world can even get the idea others are responsible for things that were done before they were born.
only religion can make people feel guilty for things they never did/done or were a part of and then make others feel as if they're entitled to something..

Sea Breeze said:
"Double standards flow naturally from the false inconsistent idea that we can all each have our own truth... which makes each of them equally false according to another."
ummm maybe double standards come from a so called holy book that says with god there is no partiality then in that same book goes on to say how he picked one race to be his chosen people.
Or how Adulterers were to be stoned then goes on to make exceptions to their own rules. Did King David get stoned for his relationship with BathSheba? Speaking of good ole King David, how many wives and concubines did he have? Talk about double standards the bible is full of them. -

Anna Marina says: "Try moving beyond Exodus 34"
Ok how's this? How about all the innocent Egyptian babies that were slaughtered for only being "guilty" of being the first-born? What did they do to deserve that?
Next on my list...how about of Job's children that died just because supposedly God and Satan had a bet if Job would stay steadfast? What did they do?
How about Jephthah's daughter having to answer for a vow he made to god at Judges chapter 11? What did she do? Why not allow him to answer for himself and let her make her own vows? The list goes on and when people try and say the bible teaches we answer only for our own sins I say wholeheartedly and unreservedly "BULLSHIT"But to get back to my original OP I was just trying to figure where these people think we owe them anything for what happened in the past. I've never owned slaves and they've never been slaves.

Food Boxes given out by Society
by JustChillin inanyone else get a food box delivered by local congregation to your door - allegedly by the society?
weird.
i looked online and found a couple of youtube channels saying the society is taking food from food banks and giving it only to their congregations.

Kim and Mikey had this on their youtube channel for any that missed it.
It is a "secret" recording of the instructions that the Elders from one hall were giving to some of the members and told to keep it quiet. Even went so far as to ask them on Zoom if anyone else was near by that would be able to hear what they were fixing to say.
Interesting recording.

I liked that movie.
For the most part they did a good job of portraying what a "J.W. kid" misses out on such as birthday parties celebrating any/all holidays and basically showing what a isolated life so many that grow up as witnesses have/had to deal with.
There were definitely parts in it that anyone that was raised J.W. would relate to. -

How do you think this covid-19/corona virus pandemic will affect the way J.W.'s view shunning?
by StoneWall inwe all know that the watchtower (jehovah's witnesses) say the reason for disfellowshipping is to protect the congregation from some uncleanness or threat.so they "quarantine" (shun) those they perceive can spread information that does not agree fully with their teachings/doctrines.it's almost like they want to liken it to a real disease by calling opposers "mentally diseased", "threat" etc.
will the current state of affairs in the world regarding this pandemic strengthen their cause/argument in favor of isolating within their ranks?
i can visualize them in the near future even having parts at the hall or assemblies pointing back to this pandemic and saying something along the lines of "brothers what do you think would happen if we would not have quarantined and stayed away from any that were infected?

I'm not sure why on this site some of my post get treated as links and put in blue text that aren't. The above was just text so if you see a blue link etc don't bother clicking it.
