IMO, the police are too eager to make an arrest. That is their answer to every situation. They aren't friends or wise counselors. Their sense of self-worth derives from the arrests that they make.

there was a group of sis with various health conditions and on medications had a gathering and drank a lot wine , one of the sister physically assaulted another sis , myself and a another elder were assigned to deal with it after hearing what happened i said to the sis she could contact the police the other elder a lot older gave me a dirty look , the sis said i trust you bro to deal with it .. i think that's why witnesses don't get the police involved because we have been convinced that we can trust the elders and the organisation , and to trust and have faith that god knows all the facts and can read hearts and will deal with it in his time scale and encouraged to leave it with him and not to bring reproach on his name..

the Watchtower guide to sex.

) to marital sex guidance, so i think its only fair and reasonable we should put together a few hints to help them publish a suitable guide.. it is well known a lot of jw's get married in order to have sex, and all to frequently the marriages fail, possibly due to sexual problems, so the watchtower guide to sex should prove to be very worthwhile.. any jw courting couple intending to get married should be allowed to have a copy of the guide, and should only be available by a special order through the body of elders.. copies are not available to any single bros and sisters.. all and any advice in it must adhere to bible principles, and certainly no salty language or smut will be allowed.. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------.

by Pallbearer inthe watchtower doesn't hold out any hope for us ever seeing our beloved animals again.
i find it very difficult to believe that god -- a god of love -- would refuse to resurrect an animal that we had become so attached to.
over the years i have bonded with no less than four (4) dogs, all of which were/are like family to me.

Pets really do form a bond with you that hurts when it gets broken.
A "scriptural" answer only creates more questions. Humans "inherited imperfection from Adam and Eve." That's why we die, supposedly. But why do the animals die?
Sorry for your loss. I wish I had the answers but some things we just can't know.

Not invited to congregation “get togethers”. They finally said it
by solomon inwe don’t get many invitations to congregational social gatherings.
we don’t attend midweek meetings and miss about 1/3 of sunday meetings.
we go in service at least once a month.

Ever notice no pictures of any JW get togeathers?
by JimmyYoung ini remember when i was a kid in the early 70s that we always had a baseball game or picnic where they would get together and bring a dish to pass.
every summer there was one or more.
we had canoe picnic parties and camp fires ect.

One of the elder's wives here absolutely lives for the congregation get-together. She puts together themes and exhibitions and assigns dishes to be made, etc.
Maybe I'm socially challenged, but it always seemed strained and forced.
Even so, I don't have much of a social life now, other than enjoying the company of people who I work with. Those congregation parties had their place for those who must have "a life."
I think the WT has suggested that the r&f have guilt about enjoying larger gatherings. Personally, I prefer intimacy.
