I CAN'T JUST GIVE UP BELIEVING IN GOD,BUT ITS UNDERSTANDABLE WHEN GOD WAS TAKING FROM YOU,I HOPE YOU FIND PEACE GODS NOT IN A BUILDING! And He does forgive you when you go to your private place sometimes you can't right a wrong,as long as you add the one you wronged and mean it,we pay all sins through death, christ did that for us! by LunaFing ini'm feeling rejected and hurt because i've just been informed that i am not invited to my little sisters wedding.

Is there a Christian message without the element of fear/perceived threat?
by nvrgnbk inso many christians highlight love and mercy as the main point of their religion.. that's undeniably appealing.. but is it true to christianity?.
in the end, isn't the belief all about escaping god's violent wrath?
aren't those that are unable to accept the system's contradictions and absurdities promised suffering and eventual destruction as punishment for their disbelief?.

People do repent and ask their grand creator for forgiveness.Thats just it they ask HIM! Where in the bible does it say,you have to bow down to JW men? Where in the bible does it say you have to ask JW men for forgiveness? Nowhere, because than you would be bowing down to men! Seems to me you are putting yourselves on that throne, handing out judgements, just saying dope!

When I posted I don't vote because I don't believe in killing, nowhere did I say,I don't respect the men and women who risk their lives for a war that is necessary! Another reason I don't vote for men who use hard working americans tax money to buy power from other countries, while people in america is struggleing to stay afloat because of out of hand taxes that is used to buy power! I do believe some wars are necessary, and yes I signed a banner at the freedom concert at cooper river park in nj to thank and surport the men and women risking their lives! I have that chioce not to vote thats what americas all about freedom of choice! I choose not to! that post was for the people who hurt me! My thanks again goes out to your husband and his new friends! PEACE

I wasn't quite totally hooked in,as I had issues with teachings! but came close,I think I might always have fear of the future, but not for death.I fear and hope this never happens, but I fear someone may push me too far and I might sock them one! I fear never seeing the people I care and love again! And I fear alzheimer's from all the weed I smoked throughout my years! Not to get off topic flipper, but if they come back ,how do I send them away without it being me rejecting them? It matters to me!

What's the worst thing the JW religion has done to you?
by lfcviking inonce having been a member of the jw religion and now that you have left, what is the worst thing that you realise it has done to you?
i.e has it left you mentally scarred?
has it left you with serious family trouble?
