Do you find yourself kinda thinking conspiricy theorist are maybe correct?
by IreallydidwalkoutofaKH ini don't know if it is me or if it is becauce i was taught so much false teachings growing up, or maybe that the watch tower publications are about a 10th grade level and when i read a thoughtful article i want to believe it.
but boy, television media seems to present the public with truths the same way the watchtower presents its truth.
with 10 minute sound bites, never getting to deep and really not explaining very well the history of some of the subjects.just a thought!

Men or Women Seeking a Relationship - What Qualities Do You Look For ?

that being said, from what i've noticed people tend to put more effort and emphasis in picking a career or employment and being choosy about that - than putting the time into meeting and getting to know what kind of person they would like to have a relationship with.
so many people leave it up to random selection - not much thought - then they wonder down the road why they are getting burned !

Great topic.....let me say this, you know I am 35 now.....and I really wish I would have been told this sooner. But you can not judge a book by its cover. You can not base how nice someone is, based on how they look. I mean you can meet someone okay looking and they treat you like your a dog. Then later you see someone you think is smoking and think no way and tadaaaaaaa there is something there. Wow!! Just had to get that off my chest. So I guess the quality I look for the most is personality. LOL

when i have shown them the pictures of some, such as danny sydlic i beleive he was the one with the eyebrows a mile long.
most dubs pass it of as they are not serving the gb but rather christ.

to start, i just posted on the friends topic, a thread on the 07 circuit assembly.
i received replys that made me think of how if children could not be bapticed, how that alone could have blunted some of the disfunction in our lives.

Yes...once again I have to agree....I just wish they would have shuned me by 10 years of age instead of having to serve until many sacrifices were made. Although many others in the WTS have sacrificed more than I ever have. I think my frustration is that although I am glad that page in my life is over, imagine if we would have been in Germany during WW2. Could we really have the same take that were just glad they leave us alone now!

Well that is what I was looking for. Just to understand what is going on with the policy. You know maybe I will take a contract class. It shows just how affective someone in the know can manipulate things. Thank you very much for that information. That pretty much cleared that up for me. Just one last question...Do you think that it may be that most people understanding what you just explained may try to just sue the Judicial Commity itself. I believe that they have rigid rules from the WT, and they would have to follow them to the T, to stay in good legal position. My experiences with the elders is that they do make quite a few fundamental errors when dealing with issues. This is not really a post to get people to sue. But rather to find a way to get the congregations to except responsibility for the problems associated with disfellowshiping rather than just an individual minor.

Banned from my sisters wedding

In all due respects...Do you think that if you called and maybe just explained that you understand her position and that everyone wants their wedding day to be perfect, that this day is important for you as well. Remind her of some past memories and experiences and tell her that you would like to just be there to see her at the wedding and that would be really a memory and an experience you would like to add to all of the ones you have made with her over the years. Making it clear that the elders representing the occasion do not have a problem with it and that you do not need to go to the reception but just being there for the wedding would be enough! Just my take.

Actually I am proud of being on a site like this where we have all seen corruption and still all of your responces have been intelligent instead of emotional. BUT...lol.....Do you really believe that 2 buildings could come down just by an airplane. i just had to get my 10 cents on this topic. But I really believe that the worst thing that could happen would be if the cheeseheads tooks sides. If they remain neutral and understand that no one wins then I think the Packers will be fine. The fans need to know that this is not the GM's fault nor the coaching staffs fault nor is it Aaron Rodgers fault, hell he was drafted, what else was he going to do. Just don't take sides Packer Nation!

Just wanted to say hello too..its nice to receive replies to your first posts. It was a big deal for me when I received post after my first shared experience. PS I did relate to some of your experiences, such as being affected different ways but they all still hurt when looking back. And how come people who profess to be spiritual seem to forget the practicalities in life?
