Folks, I'm not making this up. I really had these tripped out experiences after I accepted a, 'Knowlege' book about 12 years ago. Now it's the teach book. Anyhow. I was going through this awful time in my life I was smoking pot and drinking all the time I was 28. My friends turned on me & my mom was dying of cancer. I was going to go with her to a clinic we had 2 fly 2 the hospital when someone just handed me the book & I had theseTRIPPED out experiences. I can't even explain in writting what happened but Seven Speilberg couldn't recapture what I experienced. It was that EPIC! Spiritual food?
by fb130 ini've been studing with the witnesses for like 8 months now.
the problem i'm having is that 4 the past 3 or so months they keep telling me they've run out of the weekly study watchtower newspaper books & to just find someone borrow thiers & make photocopies.
is this anyway 2 treat a newcomer?

yknot, bless you brother, well I do think that zip download file option NEEDS to happen SHEESH I mean really I need all the help I can get. the edition I have are & I get confussed. the very upper right right hand corner says oct 15th but under the study part in the middle it starts with dec 1-7 thanks yknot, you're a light brother

a profesor of mine in college swore 2 me 4 a fact that the jws were/are somehow related to the whole ufo/alien abduction thing.
i haven't seen him in a little over 10 years) a very respected sociologist @ a major university.

I know, you'r probably thinking oh he just said that 2 get u out of his office. I used 2 have coffee with this teacher & we both really injoyed each other's company. Any info?

i am going to admit to something i have only recently come to realize about my time being raised as a jw.
blame it on selective memory (or lack of much memory at all).

First I want 2 thank you because I've had paranormal things happen 2 me but with JW literature! I'm not comfortable enough yet 2 talk about it but one day I will. Once again, thank you 4 being bold enough 2 open the door.

Like Lurther & the Catholic church. You have 2 admit the very general framework of the JW organization is respectable. things like flag salute, military & political neutrality, building your own churches, door 2 door ministry, not passing around a collection plate & even the trinity explanation are reasonable. You have 2 admit ALOT of churches out there & outside JW representing Christ are lukewarm, let their members do ANYTHING they want & do VERY LITTLE 2 win souls. Just wondered..

i started studying jw 6 months ago & i do feel i'm growing.
i think at the rate things are going i'll b babtised in another 6 months.

I think at the rate things are going I'll b babtised in another 6 months. What's this UN connection? The person I'm studing with says Jesus isn't loved by God anymore than all the angels. I thought God loved his son most of all. I am confused. Thanks
