The Lore

Existing texts of the Physiolous vary considerably in minor details, but this is the substance of what they have to relate about the unicorn: He is a small animal, like a kid, but surprisingly fierce for his size, with one very sharp horn on his head, and no hunter is able to catch him by force. Yet there is a trick by which he is taken. Men lead a virgin to the place where he most resorts and leave her there alone. As soon as he sees this virgin he runs and lays his head in her lap. She fondles him and he falls asleep. The hunters then approach and capture him and lead him to the palace of the king.

One may have known this story for years and may have seen it represented a hundred times in Christian art, yet if he has any gift for stubborn wonder he will be surprised at each return by its strangeness, and curious to know by what queer twist of thought or accident of transmission it has taken on its present form. For this tale, absurd though it may be, is not childishly and feebly absurd like that of the ant-lion; there is a suggestion of age about it and a hint of symbolism not wholly due to the fact that it has serve d for centuries as a Christian symbol.

I doubt the WT has published any surreal type imagery as they are too blatently fear based, but these images of the Virgin and the Unicorn have long been used in many religious based themes. Do you have any thoughts on the reasons behind this?

What is your personal interpretation of what this picture is trying to tell us?

when i was a jw, i thought this referred to private reproof, public reproof, or disfellowshipping.

in light of a recent conversation concerning the true meaning of justice and the balance between mercy and judgment, i would like to know what your thoughts are regarding his disciplinary "methods" and heb.

Journey-on,

I would not call it a "belief" as in a religion. These ideas are speculations and conclusions I am beginning to form based on a lot of research I have done into many areas. I find that a lot of these speculations are upheld and linked throughout "various and sundry" avenues.

To my knowledge there is no religion that believes or promotes what I have said. I did not hear it from anyone. I have always been a skeptic about things that were far fetched and sci-fi and thought UFO's as being cartoon fantasy. It has only recently come together for me.

Who does the H. Spirit indwell according to the Watchtower?

i've spoken with a number of jw's in the past who have told me that they believe the h. spirit only indwells the 144,000 (obviously contradicted by romans 8:8-9).

however, the jw i am presently trying to convert caught me a little off guard by telling me he was unaware of this doctrine (he's been a jw for 40-years) and that he understood it to be that all believers are indwelt by the h. spirit.

is he simply misinformed about his own organisations teachings here?

this planet is a testing ground and life is a mine field.

That's interesting, cameo-d. For what purpose do you think we are being tested and by whom?

This planet is known as the Refiner's Fire. That is the reason for all the wars, bloodshed, arguing, divisions, cruelties, injustices, slavery, etc.

We are put in these situations and refined by overcoming them. How do we overcome these things? There are 7 aspects of the Spirit of the Creator. This is why you see the number 7 in relation to candlesticks. This is what produces the Light. The 7 aspects are wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge and reliance of faith in trials (as in having a Divine purpose).

The Holy Spirit is also known as the "Spirit of Truth" and is interchangeable with that title.

Those who Stand in Truth have the Holy Spirit.

Those who know the Truth but do not Stand according to their conscience, may have the indwelling, but like the 5 virgins that get left behind....it takes both knowing and action or it's not complete.

Well, I Guess There IS One Good Thing About the WTBTS...

if you're the kind of person who would rather convince yourself that someone isn't "deserving" of your help... which may include your money... even an amount as small as $3.00... the wtbts was the right group to be a part of.

because they have every excuse under the sun for not giving to the poor... not helping out someone in need... not even giving a hungry one a meal (because we know, don't we, that every one of them is an alcoholic and/or drug addict... and everyone knows... particularly the wtbts... that those folks... those sinners... don't deserve to eat at all...).

looks like some of have learned well from them.

I have no objection to feeding the homeless and the hungry. My objection is the manner in which it was done. You are victimizing the hungry when you use them as pawns for some self-righteous, sanctimonous action to cause a clamor and bring attention to yourself in feigned benevolence.

Why does the Watchtower use "New world" constantly?

why does the watchtower use "new world order", or "new world translation", etc....as part of its terminology?.

makes me wonder about some of the conspiracy theories out there?.

After Armageddon is over, there will be a New World Order. It will be a return to Genesis.

As I have mentioned before, Armageddon is a spiritual battle and the mind is it's battlefield. The stakes are your heart, soul, and your future.

There will be a change in the landscape in the aftermath. Those who remain on this planet will be isolated into clans; they will have been taken into pristine compounds, remote from the remnants of shattered societies. It will be many many years before anyone discovers whatever evidence is left from the civilization we will leave behind. There will be no technology for the people of the clans, but the Ruling Class will have access to the technology that has been put in place. The "chosen ones" will be obedient and innocent/ignorant and they will not even realize that they have been imprisioned behind their pristine walled gardens of Eden.

The "Angels with the Swords" (the old rulers) will have the technology to watch and track them with satellite and sky cams embedded and people will not even realize that these things are existing. (Remember the myths of Cyclops? All this has happened before. It will repeat again.) This is how the Ruling Class becomes the "all knowing God". These people will be watched. They will be kept in line by fear of this God that seems to know every move they make.

This Ruling Class will use the technology of holograms to appear as mysterious "Angels" in order to instruct people to obey them.

Now, you wonder how what I am saying can be believable because most people are knowledgeable about this technology. Let me remind you of the story of Daniel. Daniel was one of several children that was of kingly lineage who was stolen from his family when Nebuchadnezzer of Babylon took possession of Jehoiakim's kingdom. Daniel may not have even realized that he was actually a prisoner. He was not treated badly. The spiritual attack was not by force, but by cunning. It was a psychological maneuver to win them over to the ways of Babylon in a gentle, easy progression. (Much like the same way religion plays on the minds of people today.) It is a transforming by psychological procedure; often too subtle to even be realized.

Investigate how many missing children are in your area, then your state, then national. And I bet the numbers are being erased as I type. Many of these places will be populated by those who do not know of the existence of technology.They will be innocent/ignorant of what is really going on. A fresh new crop of human population to be directed and used by the Rulers.

You will recall from scripture that in the aftermath of Armageddon that the evil ones will be thrown into the Lake of Fire. Now, before you conjur up horrid images of the planet on fire, let me explain that this is simply a metaphor. This planet is the school of the Refiner's Fire. Those who have not learned from the historic repetitions of war, sacrifice, injustice, cruelty, are doomed to repeat these cycles for another 10,000 years. (This is why the scriptures say the smoke of her torments go up forever.) That is what "live forever" means. We are all already immortal. What has been created cannot be uncreated.

The harvest is happening now. Many people will laugh and joke about UFO's, and although I have never seen one, I believe they are here to transport us to a group of planets nearby which are to be the Celestial Homes of those who have, after many incarnations over the past 10,000 years, finally passed through the Refiner's Fire successfully. Graduation is now. Take your Stand for Truth or be doomed to repeat.

At graduation, our vast memories will return and we will have a wonderful homecoming as we unite with those we have known and loved through all of these cycles. We will have healing and our needs will be met as we start anew in Celestial Homes with like minded loving peaceful people.

Yes, TastingFreedom, a New World Order is on the horizon for everyone. For people of the earth, it will be a return to Genesis. For the Heavenly minded, those who have uncovered the game plan here and who have successfully Stood, it will be a new world also, as many receive the promise Jesus made to return for us and take us to our Celestial Homes.

Do you talk to them and make sure they listen to five or ten minutes of your religious views before they get the sandwich?

Still, I say its better to help someone to be able to help themselves.
