Maybe the flood of Noah is a metaphor representing the takeover of maritime law in our world. Maybe this is where the Holy Sea came from. (Nothing really "holy" about it, you know.)

I was walking my dog and JWs told me about some good news!
by moshe inwell, it was a nice morning to take my dog for a walk and about a mile from my home i met a car load of jws working the condos.
two brothers hit on me before they went back to their car.
apparently they hadn't been able to talk to anyone this morning -10:30am, so they were eager to find a stooge who would listen to them.. i immediately decided i wouldn't talk about their doctrine, so i jumped on the flood of noah after they got the intros out of the way.

So what does the Toga really signify? What is the message here? What is Russell stating between the lines?
And if this was a satanic ritual sacrifice...why was it done on a train ride?
Every aspect of this carries important planning--- the acts are symbolic messages and have important significant ritual meaning.
Did Russell know he was going to "die" in a ritual sacrifice? How did he have such an uncanny sense of timing as he requested the Toga just a short time before his midnight (execution?) demise?

How Important is knowing the Truth, Really?
by cameo-d inis the quest of finding the real truth even attainable?
is the quest of trying to find out worth the risk and the sacrifice of losing the love of friends and family?
oh, i know many of you will say the "love" is fake or not true if it can't hold up to scrutinty.

The Finger: "Depends how you define the Truth. Then it really is worth finding."
I do not need to define Truth. I said a "quest" for truth....the opportunity and the freedom to search things out for yourself. There is no guarantee that any of us will find "the Truth" and further, my truth may not be the same as what you discover as your truth. The experiences we base our truths on will be different.
If one even dares to embark on such a quest when it bucks the norm of the society in which you are encompassed, one will soon realize the punishments of non-conformity. That's why I am asking is this dare to journey into unexplored territory worth it as you can see from others it is painful, chaotic, angering, depressing, upsetting and will turn your whole world upside down.
How bad do you really want to know the truth? Are you willing to pit fact against belief? Can you handle realizing the wasted years and your own stupidity and come to terms with advancing past it? Are you willing to forfeit the ties that bind to the only semblence of security that you have known?
What makes it worthwhile to risk losing your family and friends, and possibly your mind?
How bad do you want to know the truth? Where do you think it will lead once you find it, if you do?

Highlights from talk by Watchtower Representative Ciro Aulicino
by Shepherd Book insome of you have probably heard this talk before, but i updated my site and made this page:
http://www.watchtowerletters.com/more.html
the best part (in my opinion) is the talk by ciro aulicino, entitled "you will be with me in paradise".

Shepherd: " My favorite part is when he discusses how the continents will be rejoined Pangea-style in the near future."
This is not meant to be taken literally. This is a metaphor for "one world government".

baltar447: However I'd like an accurate source for the time of death. I can't seem to find that anywhere.
Baltar, I daresay that JM has his sources and an inside circle. To have "died" at the stroke of midnight seems to allude to a ritual killing and not a natural death.
It appears that Maxwell is calculating the time of death by coordinating the time of the train schedule, its destination and it's location at the time of Russell's death. Through those variables the midnight stroke could be determined and thus, the exact time of death.

Is the quest of finding the real truth even attainable? Is the quest of trying to find out worth the risk and the sacrifice of losing the love of friends and family? Oh, I know many of you will say the "love" is fake or not true if it can't hold up to scrutinty. But, in this life, and in this situation, it's pretty much all you got and all you're going to get, right? What's the alternative...being on your own in the cold?
So this pearl of great price....this great wisdom of knowing the truth....is it worth what it costs?
Do you search out of "ego"...of no longer wanting to be taken for a fool? Do you want to know more than everyone else? Do you just have a need to be smarter?
Or is it a craving that comes from your gut and you just can't stop digging?
In the great scheme of things, is it really that important to find out the truth? Will it change all that has been joyful in this world for you? Are you ready to give up this world?

broken promises,
I wouldn't exactly call him a conspiracy theorist. Take a look here and familiarize yourself with his research and I think it will answer your question.

So says Jordan Maxwell and he backs up the statement with years of research and knowledge.
At 1:25:00 he speaks about the eerie death of Chas. Taze Russell. He died at the stroke of midnight on Halloween, a high occult occasion. Just before his death he requested that his traveling companion/bodyguard make a toga for him.
How very odd that one would "suddenly feel death coming on" and of all things to request such an outlandish costume! The toga is an ancient Roman symbol for something and also has a special meaning to freemasons. (this is explained in the video, too)
Maxwell states that Russell was financed out of London and that the money came from Mi5 and Mi6.
JW, Mormon, 7Day Adventist, WWCoG are all York Rite Cults and are financed, organized, and directed....out of London!!
This video is lengthy, but well worth the time. The section where he speaks about WT starts at 1:25:00 and is about 10 minutes of information.

1/1/11 WT Using One Myth to Support Another
by WalkTall ini thought this was pretty hysterical and something that i would have never noticed before i woke up.
in the jan 1 wt under the heading 'was the garden of eden a real place?
part of the reasoning they use as to why no one could find the garden of eden even though there are specifics in genesis identifying it's location is because "the flood of noah's day may have altered the topography in ways that we simply cannot know today".

sd-7 "I used to wonder why the "tree of life" wasn't still around somewhere if the Garden of Eden existed. "
The "tree of life" is not an actual "tree". The phrase is a metaphor. Much like today when we refer to our lineage as the "family tree" we are not referring to the old oak in the backyard.
The "tree of life" represents those who were meant to be the teachers of the first humans. The first humans were free to "take from this tree" at any time. They were only banned from going to this tree, these "teachers", after having made a conscious choice to choose a different leader.
