Sisters should wear a veil on their head whenever they're teaching in front of men. It only happens under specific circumstances but I remember walking in to a sister's bible study and she, after mentioning the veil thing pulled up her sweater over her head. I thought that was cute.

Placing old magazines in laundry mats..etc
by donny ini was at a local laundry mat this past sunday and i found an awake from 1995 and a watchtower from 1989. i was amazed at how old these magazines were.
back in my day, the magazines i left behind were rarely over a year old, let alone 20. i have noticed this a lot lately and am wondering where all of these old magazines are coming from.
as i stated on a post a while back, i was in a laundry mat some time ago and i heard a man say "why are you looking forward to 1975?

Knocking on doors.....How successful is it?

i actually had my interest sparked with the jw's by family members and freinds that were jw's.. were you a statistic of the knock at the door?.

Leaving literature at the door is what got me in but once I got in I found out that field service wasn't that effective. I had better luck witnessing to people I already knew and got one into the religion.
