by BonaFide ini know of two jw therapists, one who is an elder.. so yesterday i was out in service (yea i know) and we saw another car group from another congregation in a parking lot.

"I think one person should visit him and pretend to be a patient, sign the form and obtain a copy. It can be used as evidence."
Scott 77 I agree with your idea but if the therapist is smart he may not allow the patient a copy of the agreement. In any case that agreement may be null and void in a court of law. The purpose of that agreement may simply be to intimidate a JW patient into not suing if worse comes to pass and s/he is snitched to the elders.
A concealed tape recorder may be of value.

If WT have the legal right to stone us...would they do it???
by JustHuman14 inwe all know wt's view of "apostates"and disfellowshiped persons.
they grap from the old testament quotes that "god's people, isralites" stone to death the evil doers, even the unobedient children.
the first one to cast the stone was a close relative, parents, brothers, sisters.

mraimondi, your bringing up doctrinal changes does not take into consideration the fact that JWs could pretty much take a 180 degree turn on any doctrine that they choose. It is psychology not doctrines that count and I simply compare the psychology of the average witness with that of your average German citizen during Hitlers regime. You can guess who the Jews are in my analogy.

No mraimondi, we are not "thick" just realistic. The JWs consider themselves spiritual Israel and even if they did not the hatred and fear that their masters in Brooklyn have is sufficient for them to take advantage of the hypothetical situation this topic is about "If WT have the legal right to stone us... would they do it???" There is no mention of having to time travel back to ancient Israel on this thread.

The chairman of my JC told me that if I were in Israel I would be stoned and he was not referring to marijuana but to apostacy.
Thank you for the quote ninja. TIMBOB, mraimondi you underestimate the Witnesses.

I know ex-JWs who said they had good times while they were in the religion when they were young but that's because they were doing everything they weren't supposed to be doing.

Topics for discussion with JWs - part 1: Why did Jehovah create dinosaurs?
by Albert Einstein inlets start topics for discussion with jws, such ones, that will make them feel very unconfortable..... my first turn:.
why did jehovah create dinosaurs?
jehovah is a god of love right?
-

He created violent dinosaurs so that their discovery could stumble demonized apostates like us.
By the way Zid that's 48,000+/- years. The millenium has not started yet. Maybe Yah will resurrect T. Rex in the New World to keep people submissive.

Good point Lady Lee on the trance state. I was going to point out something similar. From what I've researched about religious experiences as a neurological phenomenon it sounds like a case of Temporal Lobe seizure. Also, though this may be a stretch, those linotype machines have a pot of molten lead. I remember using one in high school-the lead pot was exposed. I don't think that inhaling those lead fumes is good for the brain. There is also the possibility that the stroke may alter his personality probably for the worse.
