  cink proved to be too much with that massive putt on 18. tom could not finish clean and now cink marches up the last playoff hole at turnberry to claim the claret jug with his putter.. poised watson must bow - his chance at history as the oldest man to ever win the open championship will falter like the mist over the rocky isles off the coast.. jeff.

  Any great elder or JW experiences?

  i was in an abusive marriage.

  these elders were so incredibly loving that i really believed even in there mistakes they were directed by god.

  mistakes that could have and did cause me physical harm by my ex.

  When and should I tell my family I am pregnant?

  left three years ago - did the fade away and managed to avoid getting dissed.

  have been living with my boyfriend for a year and a half and am 9 wks pregnant, we are both very happy about it.

  i have been having a really hard time with the hormones and the morning sickness - cannot eat anything except crackers as it comes back up immediately and the slight smell of anything unsavoury sets me off.

  Hello and Welcome!

  Having watched my sis and Mom go through this, I can only advise you might want to try to meet face to face either with just your Mom and / or just your sister. Seeing someone face to face when telling them this happy, thrilling news is much easier to do when you see them.

  And, it will be much harder for them to be judgemental and harsh looking you in the face. Who, other than an elder, could actually say something mean to a pregnant young woman? Not her mother if she has any heart. She loves you. I would try to meet her in a coffee shop or donut shop or somewhere public where you can be in the open yet a little quiet.

  I just saw this thread and it tells me that there aren't too many *great elders or JW experiences*.

  Also, since so many EW-JWs on this board were elders, I'm wondering about all the *great* things they did to the R & F. Like during JCs etc?

  That is the kind of stuff that people like me remember.

  Your thread hits home. My mom was in an incredibly abusive marriage (she got beat black and blue more times than I can count). She decided to say "F" the spiritual reason for a divorce and "F" the "bringing reproach on Jehovahs name" shit. She threw the bQstard out and got a divorce. Not one elder said a word to her. Not one. They also knew that I would give them hell because they were silent when she came to the Kingdum Hall beat to hell. Not one asked a simple question--"Why" or "How can we help?"

  I despise them all. If Armageddon does happen, those MFers will all fry. My blood pressure rises when I remember that.

  No *J* in the Hebrew language and pronouncing god's name wrong reminds me of Brett Favre, previously of Green Bay.

  It is pronounced F-A-R-V-E.

  It is spelled F-A-V-R-E.

  What is wrong with this? Anyone? Besides every Bear fan who says it properly?
