  Who has a blog?

  i've noticed a lot of xjw blogs popping up lately.

  i think that is great.

  blogging could be the next big phase in combating the influence and propaganda of the watchtower society.

  I have both. Websites tend to be more stable, so grow more links over time and get great search engine rankings, but updating them is more time consuming.
  
  Blogs can be set up quickly and easily added to and modified. And they can get good search engine rankings too – depending on a lot of factors, the most important being how many people link to you (and what [i]their[/i] SE ranking is).
  
  *Is there a good explanation out there as to how to increase traffic and search engine hits?
  
  Probably only twelve or fifteen million sites. Start with Search Engine Watch.

  Pitbulls- advice anyone?

  my husband just rescued a pitbull-mix puppy from living neglected under a hole in the stairwell of an apartment across the parking lot from his place.

  she had no tags and was unleashed- free-ranging in the parking lot.. i was sceptical at first as i have heard that pit bulls are very dog agressive.

  when i aked our vet about it (i have a black lab mix, 1.5 yrs, as well) she said that all the folks at that vet owned pits and as long as the puppy is well socialized and rained well she will be fine.. the puppy, butters, is already a little agressive- she fights to get her food before it is on the floor and she has growled at another big pit bull at petsmart when my husband took her there.. butters will be flying here (tucson) this evening.

  i don't know the talk # but the most boring talk title ever had to be "who are qualified as ministers of god?".

  next came "parents - are you building with fire-resistant materials".

  Or accidental. I remember "A father talks to his sons" and "A mother talks to her daughters." Anyone have the originals? I remember it was something like "they lay very close together, and his part falls into hers". Oops.

  in the jehovahs witness religion, there is a ceremony known in those circles as the memorial of christs death, or just the memorial for short.

  it is claimed and believed among members that jehovahs witnesses observe the exact same ceremony that is more widely known as the lords supper among christians.

  You're managing to pack a huge amount of stupidity in just a few words. The first time you posted that ridiculous number we could have written it off to ignorance, but now that you've been corrected and keep repeating it, stupidity is the only possible explination.
  
  And, as also has been explained to you, there is but one theme in atheist thought – there is not sky daddy. That's it. No other dogma, no other fundamentals, no nothin'.
  
  The only thing more boring than a dictionary argument is a dictionary argument by someone who doesn't understand basic definitions.

  the march 2009 american religious identification survey from trinity college and the march 7, 2009, national journal article on "rise of the godless" present the following data: .

  when asked for their religious affiliation, 15 percent of americans say none, but only 0.7 percent say atheist ..... .

  i present the above info just as a reminder that very, very few people consider themselves atheist despite decades of "scientific" propaganda suggesting otherwise.

  in her latest interview, she at least had the guts to say how she felt - good for her!

  Yes, Bush was part of the problem, but it goes back further than that. It really started when Clinton put the CRA on steroids and demanded that Fannie & Freddie hand out more loans to unqualified buyers. Bush then upped the fannie/Freddie quotas.   BTW, Ramsey should not be mentioned in the same sentence as Cramer and Orman. His whole thing is getting out of debt and staying out of debt. He doesn't give investment advise.

  When messing with the door knockers, I like to ask them if there will be movies and novels in their paradise. They always say yes. Then I ask them:
  
  What will they be about?
  
  They pause. They hem and haw. Usually they end up saying the stories would be about things before Armageddon.

  i love music and i think this year's contestants are quite good.. some have said the show is fixed.

  but i love the singing competition.. what about choo?.

  I only watch it during the preliminary rounds. I love the train wrecks.
  
  My favorite this season was a black woman who made a big deal about how much she learned about singing by studying human anatomy – on the internet. After her horrible audition she said "I'm sorry, I was singing through the wrong rectum."
  
  Once they get to Hollywood I find it dull, and instead switch to Destroyed in Seconds.

  Questioned By The Elders. Lawsuit?

  i was dfed for 3 years and could not get back in for the life of me.

  (long story one elder from my committee even held onto my letter and didnt give it to the other elders for 6 weeks) my current wife who i was dfed for back in the day (a few years ago) found out that i was text messaging and calling one of her friends (another sister in the hall) and she is very upset.

  instead of handling it like a family she "eldered up" and i got pulled into the back room with 2 elders.

  A cult is an organization, usually (but not always) religious that has an inordinate amount of control over its members. The JWs are a cult.

  This is Christian love? Is this the way Jehovah wants people to act? This tells you everything you need to know about them. Don't ignore the lesson.
  
  I have thought of that, but family is so important to me!
  
  This is how they're keeping you in control. Freedom is expensive. As a JW, the price is often your family. In your position I'd be concerned with my immediate family (wife and kid) and try not to be concerned with anyone else. It's not easy, but it can be done.
  
  It's not clear from your message if you've been reinstated or if you're still DFed. If you're still DFed, simply refuse to have anything to do with the elders. They are nothing more than power hungry busybodies. Stay away from them.
  
  Your real concern should be with your wife. Make her happy, but let her know you're interested in her, not the controlling old farts.
  
  And Google "Jehovah's Witnesses" and visit every site on the first three pages.
