  the flds church is much more strict than jw's, but reading the book made me see that jw's are not the only ones who believe certain things, like that they have the "truth", or the roles of women, or the way men make their own decisions and then claim it's from god.

  Probably if I'd read the book you are referring to 1st, I'd be the same way. I guess Stolen Innocence is a lot lighter (although still pretty dark)...and she's even my 'friend' on My Space . Sorry, don't wanna be name dropping or anything

  Are JW's the only ones imprisoned for their beliefs?

  i'm sorry to gadget, who brought up a similar topic & it reminded me of something i was told 2 days ago.

  is it true that jw's are the majority of people who are currently imprisoned for their beliefs?

  can you give me examples if this is or is not the case?

  She's got a very similar ending to most of us on jwn....she's happy, but unfortunately, her family is still very much "in" the faith. So its depressing, but I felt invigorated reading it

The FLDS church is MUCH more strict than JW's, but reading the book made me see that jw's are not the only ones who believe certain things, like that they have the "truth", or the roles of women, or the way men make their own decisions and then claim it's from god. Or the way people always felt depressed when they weren't given certain roles in the congregation. It's a great read!
