Does anyone know Don and Laurie Frager?
by happpyexjw ini have been wondering about them.
i ran across something that said laurie died a few years ago in california.
she was the person who studied with my mother in boston.

Follow up to JW story in the Tucson paper
by happpyexjw inhi all, i wanted to post to the original thread on this but have not able to find it.
anyway, the blog that follows the story about the conventions in tucson, arizona is still continuing.

Any funny stories you remember involving your kids?

) were serving our congregation they came to our house for lunch.
at the time i had two kids, about three and five years old.

Any behavior you regret due to JW teaching
by happpyexjw indoes anyone wish they could make amends for mistakes made as a jw?
i tried very hard to follow the teachings very closely, right down to shunning some of my relatives who were df'd.
i also think i was very judgemental and hard on others..

Why did you leave and did you still hold on to some beliefs for a while?
by happpyexjw inwhen you left the wts did you leave over something specific?
did you, or do you, still believe in some of the jw ideas?.
in my own case i left over a family issue i have mentioned elsewhere.

Reluctant to tell others of JW past?
by happpyexjw inhas anyone felt uncomfortable telling others that they were once jws?
i have shared this info with very few people in the 19 years since i left.
i don't want to have to explain to someone who wouldn't understand anyway.
