wittnesses of who?
by arimatthewdavies injehovahs wittnesses have adopted their name because they want to show that they are wittnesses for jehovah, but i need to point this out for your consideration first the name jehovah while it shows your referereing to jhwh really is not valid in the least, to be a wittnesses of some one in any court you must have his real ful.
name, proxies [stand in names] are not allowed.
second it was jesus christ who comisioned us to work for him.. third he is the mediator between us and god, hence how or why can you be a wittness for jehovah ?

indeed. the Christians-Bible Students under JFR. have taken wrongly upon them the Name "JW"s"
but they have done many other wrong things , or have given many wrongs interpretations of Scriptures
regarding the Name , YHWH has prophecised that His people will receive a new name
Isaiah 62:
2 The nations will see your righteousness,
and all kings your glory;
you will be called by a new name
that the mouth of the LORD will bestow.The "new name" is that of "Christian" , that is , a follower and believer in Christ
all people who return to God now , after realizing that they have been departed from God's word , are appreciating again the Name given by Father to His Son's followers and believers : Christians
Acts 11:26 ..... The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch
This is the new name : Christians .

The Witness Who Cried Wolf
by sabastious inwitnesses, for some reason, feel they deserve massive credibility in bible predictions and interpretations.
enough that they feel they have to right o be considered an universal authority.. their claim to fame comes from, mainly, their stance on blood, the trinity, immortality of the soul and hellfire.
maybe this is actually what the bible teaches... but to me, it is a moot stance in regards to the position they claim to have a right to.. the witnesses have been heralding the coming of christ for well over a century.

your words does prove the veracity of Jesus words:
29. But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.============================
the real understanding of these words is , for a long time , for each of us - who worshiped God through (so called)"God's organization" , the GB and those around them has been seen/perceived as "heavenly luminaries" , being also persons "with heavenly calling"
NOW , the reality around us demonstrates that "the increasing light" coming from them is , in fact , "darkness" !
than means that "the powers of the heavens shall be/are being shaken"
yes , they are the "old heavens" to be destroyed ...

the verse 30 says that "the sign of the Son of man" ...
well , the Son of man includes those who really are members of the "Body of Christ" now on earth
how will they be recognized ?
again Jesus words :
43. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears, let him hear.
so , they will " shine forth as the sun" ...
will we be able to identify them ?

This way does God describe His ongoing action (of replacing the old heavens with the new ones )

and what will be the result of His work ?

Helpful suggestions for The Watchtower Society ...
by wannabefree init seems you discontinued the wrong meeting.. 1. reinstate the "book study" at private homes - (and go back to the original name, because changing the name to "congregation bible study" isn't fooling anyone).
2. add a real bible study/discussion to the in-home meetings.. 3. discontinue the other four meetings and sell the kingdom halls ... or turn them into homeless shelters, that would be a christian thing to do.
4. stop printing magazines for the ministry, tracts work just fine.

now we are living at its "feet" time

I remember going to assemblies and we were warned about "Apostate" flyers and stuff. That never sat well with me, I mean if truth is truth...then people should be able to spot a lie from the truth. considering that they tell you how to argue every point with every other religion which should be more than enough training to build up your critical thinking skills...yet Apostate flyers are a threat to truth? How can it be if they have the truth?
