Have you made MAJOR CHANGES since you started posting here?

i ask because i've been posting at jwd/jwn for 10 years now.

i was a rapidly fading jw when i started but still considered myself a christian for a good few years more.

now i've embraced reason and rejected faith i'm a very happy atheist and enjoy learning more about the fact of evolution.. what about you?.

Me too I'm posting since 2001(justhuman) Nicolaou. After leaving WT, I consider to be Christian for many years. Now I have my doubts regarding many things that formed Christianity, specially how did the Early Church formed the Bible and rejected the Gnostic Gospels, like the Gospel of Magdalene, Thomas, Judas(just to mention a few). I still beleive in Christ and specially the supremacy of His teachings. Also I believe in Evolution and that it was fact that a Supreme Force has guided to take place. So I combine the Creator with the Evolution process.

Still I believe that there is life after death since in the Universe nothing dies.

Well dude, I'm justhuman since 2001 in this forum. Unfortunately I couldn't get my old avatar back when this forum changed. Since I have 10 years following up this forum, I have seen lots of posters from over the world. Some have gone and some just pop up from time to time. In my case I usually post at day. But my day is night time in US....

How is it f'n possible JW's biggest religious increase 4.4%

is there any stats on how many have left ?.

We all know that WT is fabricating numbers and facts. They just show the so call increase in order not to loose more members. If WT wanted to be honest(a word that you cannot find in WT's dictionary)they should show the following in their anual statistics:

1.How many JW's died

2.The number of un-baptized publishers

3.The number of the baptized publishers

4.The number of the disfellowshiped ones

5.The number of the innactive JW's

6.The number of the Bible studies contacted by parents

7.Plus the increase of the world population

With this figures we can tell what the hell is going in the WT world. But there is way to find the exact figures, plus with a calculation done by ex-members for the last 15 years we have at least 6 millions that left the WT...

like most people reading this, i was convinced that by 2014 the new system would 'definitely' have been operating for at least a decade.

now that i know this is not going to be the case i am going to have to think of some way to recognise 100 years of wts let downs and failed predictions.

there is no point fretting over the past so i think it will be a good time to celebrate.

Perhaps they are counting the deceased ones also, AND ALL JW'S SINCE THEIR EARLY START IN 1874!!!

i would assume that some or a good number of us here as normal humans in this society - consider " lawless " actions to include murder , robbery, extortion, rape, child abuse, war , terrorism, etc.

the wt society has their own definition of what's considered " lawless ".

anything that's considered a disfellowshipping offense in the jehovah's witnesses is now considered " lawless ".

What a vomiting study article by the WT...That is all I can say. It is about time for all those who have been hurt by the WT cult to raise our voice and take legal actions against that cult, due to the fact our human rights are violated. All that GB care's is to guard their leadeship and power upon the brainwashed JW's. They know that they are just a banch of false prophets and liars and they are doing what they can to scare the rank file and keep as many as they can in their prison walls.

Ex-Jw's according to WT leadership we are just demon possed, Devil's tools, humanoids without feelings, that we deserve to die in the most terrible way. That is the one side of the coin...

Due to WT's unhuman policy I was not allowed to attend at my childs Wedding reception. My family is broken due to my ex-communication. I have lost all my friends, I haven't talked or seen my close relatives for years and I suffered total isolation from all. It didn't matter if I served WT for many years as a regular pioneer(90 hours)and served also in many possitions(MS, Elder) in the WT world. All my servitude has gone down the drain. It is clear for them: Either you blindly follow what we say or if you don't we will screw your life...

What about our feelings? We are treated like we are not humans. WT claims to be the champion of freedom, but that freedom is denied to those members who dare to question them...

The Bethel "Generation of 1914"

some older former bethelites may remember these folks from the cover of a 1984 watchtower:.

this was published during a time while the watchtower society was waging war against the "apostasy" that had started in 1980. one of the issues at stake was the year 1914. these older bethelites were photographed to give tangible proof that the "generation of 1914" would not pass away.

now, nearly 27 years later, they likely have all passed away (along with that generation).. there is a listing of some of the names of these bethelites up at a blog article at this link:.

Unfortunately I didn't got any education....I left school back in the early 80's to become a pioneer, because the end was soooooooo close...Then I was appointed MS, had a lot of things to do in the WT word and never had time to do anything else, like education. Unfortunately I even turned down good working deals, and when I started to play music as a guitarist, the elders came and asked me not to do that, since I'm gaining glory for my self!!!

When I left WT, I was in my mid 30's with children, working 2-3 jobs just to get the basic money since I didn't had any skills.

Take the Kids Exposed to JW Stuff to the Disney Movie, "TANGLED." Great Message For Them

i took my wife to this movie and pried her a bit on the way home to make her think about how sometimes the people we trust are our enemies.. the disney movie, tangled, is their spin on the repunzel story.

i'll try not to spoil their movie and still make the point of why this is a great movie to take a jw to, the older and closer to adulthood the better.

you total adults with jw adult loved ones should drag them to it.. the villain takes repunzel away from her life (as a baby) and keeps her in "the tower" for her own evil purposes.
