I was that hairdresser and I've got the used bottle of dye, the hair follicle with the funny bulbous bit at the end (for DNA porposes) and and a signed statement from the man providing reasons why he thought he was "worth it" any takers?.

in january 2009 i was disfellowshipped from jw's.

i documented the whole process and recorded it which you can find here:- death or obedience.

many people asked for english transcripts of these recordings and i'm pleased to say i now have full transcripts kindly supplied anonymously for those who wish to read them.. these will be of great help to those who have trouble hearing or cannot understand the scottish accents on the recordings.. they are available here:- the trial of a jehovah's witness the new site has it's own audio link for each transcript so you can listen along as you read.. the person who has supplied me is interested in the moral and ethical issues this case has thrown up.

@3Mozzies. Thanks. I was sure it would have been discussed but I only managed to get half of my post up. I am having trouble cutting and pasting.

On the back of this news article, Bill Bowens letter to the WT headquarters, where he resigns as an Elder after 20 years or so due to the flawed 'two witness' policy has been circulating on Facebook. It was also put up on a blog page for discussion and received an unbelievable response from a JW. This is what my post was leading to. You can read it on....
