Money and the BORG...
by cognac init seems to me that most of the borgs growth now is from 3rd world countries and from uneducated, poorer people.
i don't believe this was the case years ago.
and, there are a lot in that are stuck in.

Welcome Wesley
I look forward to read more about the "revolt" in Brazil.
Keep up the good work.
I left the JWs in the early 80s.
I am in contact with a lot of ex JWs in my country.
We are a group that support others who have left or plan to leave.
Hugs from Madame in Sweden

This year's drama of the prodigal son
by JimmyPage inthis year's prodigal son drama is like a "cult 101" class.
if you leave "the truth" (tm) bad things will happen to you- you will end up in a car wreck because your friends will be driving drunk.
no witnesses ever drive under the influence!

What if your friend drives drunk and kills someone? Are you really willing to take that risk? You should absolutely call the cops! That can save lives and make your friend stop his drunk driving.

It sure looks like a nice place. But I agree, there is no one to talk to, unless one likes to talk to flowers.

In case you haven't been to a meeting in years........things haven't changed!
by RULES & REGULATIONS ini went to sunday's talk and watchtower meeting.
sorry to report..............nothing has changed!.
i walked in and as usual elders are talking with fellow elders.

I haven't been to a meeting since the early 80s. It was always important to attend all the meetings every week and be very busy with personal study and the ministry. If you didn't keep up with "the good work" all the time you would get time left to start thinking, something that was not recommended.

Anyone from Sweden here?
by AlexHall inhi.. im new to the posting-part of this forum and was wondering if there s any other ex-witnesses from sweden in here?.
i v been reading a lot of the topics here and i have to admit it have helped me to start seeing the bigger picture.
it took almost a whole year as a ex-borg before i grew the courage to start reading "apostate" information.
