  ... how truly great this place is.. i have not been on many forums, but i think this one is unique and strong in a very important way.

  it is of course a support group for those exiting the wts, or trying to deal with remaining within it, first and foremost.

  but the awesome thing about this place is how it welcomes everyone.

  this thread was inspired by the "a question for the ladies..." thread and anybody is welcome to post.. if you are now free and clear of the wts, how have your dress and grooming changed?

  i'll start the ball rolling by saying that i made some changes that i really like.

  i'm down to two suits and they are only for job interviews and perhaps some solemn occasion.

  hello everyone. i have commented a few times so i figure ill introduce myself. sorry if this is under the wrong topic, i dont as i dont participate in any other forums. i have lurked for a while. better to keep quiet unless you have something enlightening to say. i dont follow that rule. id like to just say my humor and sarcasm is weird and i can be easily misunderstood. so please bear with me if i seem crass or disagreeable. having said that i do like to be just dumb under the annonymity of the net. i say the first thing that come to my mind sometimes. i am a born in. dunked at 15. for acceptance(jws are cool). and when i found this site i was still on the fence and going to school. some early posts were in defense of the corp but i now DETEST any organised religion. as a born in i know this place is legit because i have read many stories that only a dub would have experienced and it is always good for a laugh. ex. my mom couldnt believe i knew about the new songbook before it was out. her expression was priceless when i dropped a few of your suggestions... knockin on heavens door, ramble on (about jehovah).LOL so im gonna hang if its cool and if i offend i apologize in advance

  transhuman mayby i didnt read ur entire post but samson was endowed with superhuman strength with the hippie hair, which is a shame to a man. i personaly belive it is all BS AND belive it might be atributed to prophets being mighty men of war. my only comp,laint is that gods hero indulgd in all of the unclean things and was still gods chosen. WHAT BS.

  i often wonder what the borg would do if governments decided to end 'marraige'.

  so you have the ceremony but there is no need for the legal bit.

  i kinda think things are headed that way because defacto and same sex relationships already have the same legal rights.. marraige is open to abuse.

  they wont ban marrige. church makes money at all ceramonies... hence the word monies in ceramonies. its called HATCH em, MATCHem, DISPATCHem. marrige is between a man, woman, and bank account. cashectomy on the way in...lawyer on the way out. in the words of BRAD NOWELL"marrige doesnt work in the world today, its an institution that is in decay".

  peace. we are all on the same page. we are mind funked and shouldnt be beefing over semantics. we are all dealing with mind funks in diff. ways. i will ask a truce in the name of the daddy his bastard and the holy spook. no diss.   i agree but unfortunantly many noobs have been driven away. x jdubs still retain their lack of trust. some are cliquish, some are douches and some are still funked by beliefs. so vent. piss on the haters and cliques. kinda like being at a meeting. say what you say and do you. im unknown and dont care. WHATEVER
