No. They wait until they've made the step of baptism and dedication to the publishing company and then say "Oh, by the way...if you screw up, we have to treat you like you're dead...but hey, congratulations on getting baptized!"

Not true. A great many believing JW's would feel so guilt-stricken from receiving a transfusion accidentally (AKA "not filling out their DPA due to laziness") that they would go to the elders to purge themselves of their guilt. They are then at the mercy of the elders, who decide whether this person should be considered DA'ed or not. And those who did willingly accept a transfusion would more than likely be found out...through hospital liason committee, through other JW's visiting and overhearing, etc. Nothing is truly private when you are a JW. And you can be sure that once the elders find out, you're f**ked.
Interesting you mention that people know full well the policy on blood, DAing and DFing... These are not policies they want the general public to know. They are not revealed until a "bible study" (I use that term loosely) has been well-established. What do I mean? The blood issue isn't raised until chapter 13 of the Bible Teach book. And disfellowshipping?? Not mentioned in the Bible Teach book at all. Oh, no... it's not even mentioned in the follow-up book Worship the Only True God... the "student" must wait until chapter 3 of the God's Love book to be introduced to disfellowshipping (which is a pretty damn cruel irony). Now, how is that disclosure? The "student" is already exhibiting signs of complete thought reform, Watchtower mind control, etc. and may have already gotten baptized by this point (I know quite a few who did as soon as they finished the Bible Teach and Worship God books). So now this is sprung on them, complete with a section in the appendix of exactly how disfellowshipped persons are to be viewed and treated. Now that's some friggin' fine print for ya!! Not all converts know about the DFing policy. And it's not something the WTBTS wants the public to know about. That's why there is no mention of it in the Awake or the public edition of the Watchtower. That's why when I was chatting with a JW online, she was baffled at how a "worldly person" knew so much about DFing. She was shocked. "How do YOU know about disfellowshipping??" It's a dirty little Watchtower secret...one most people don't know about...not even a lot of those who are on the verge of baptism.

so why does it not matter that the "modern day" orginazations origins were full of what we now know were false teachings?
and they followed one man...russel, then rutherford for many years...which is their own unique definition of part of what a "cult" is.. instead of placing any emphasis on how pagan or wrong the origins of early teachings of wt are...they simply say there has been new light.

I completely agree, oompa! I've had this conversation with both of my parents a few times and they insist that "What Russell did doesn't matter". My mom went so far as to say "Well, they weren't operating under Holy Spirit and they were going against the organization!"...UM...they are the effing FOUNDERS of the "organization"!! How the F*CK can you justify it?? You can't!!! I tried explaining to her who Russell and Rutherford were (she doesn't really know much WT history at ALL) and she still didn't get what I was telling her. My dad gave the whole "They needed to be readjusted...we no longer smoke or celebrate Christmas as JW's, yet they did back then...See?? The light got brighter until they were acceptable". But WAIT A FRIGGIN MINUTE!! Weren't they ALREADY chosen as "acceptable" in 19-something-teen?? Then how the hell was it they needed to change if they were already acceptable??

OH don't forget that when Samson ripped the lion in half, he came back and the carcass was filled with honey! I'm with you, PC! It drives me batshit! LMAO! I had a Haitian guy in one of my classes and we became really good friends and he used to call me "boo" and "boo-boo" (isn't that what you get when you hurt yourself??). It drove me NUTS!! I've had guys hitting me up online awhile back with "Hey boo, what's good?" AAAAAAHHHH!!!! Thankfully, no one I've ever been in a relationship with has ever called me boo. It would be a deal-breaker! It bothers me THAT much! I prefer "baby"...that's what mine calls me all the time...so much so that now I know he's being very serious when he uses my name .

They just shovel over it with more bullshit and loosen the reigns a bit to include blood fractions...WHY? Because they KNOW their erroneous doctrine has caused many deaths. They also know that MANY "old school" JW's will NOT take fractions because of the original stance on blood being pounded into their thick skulls for so many years. They talk about "Babylon the Great" being "drunk with the blood of the holy ones"...yet they're drunk with power that's been BOUGHT with the blood, sweat, and tears of their own people!
