Please, do the right thing, report this JW guy for " impersonating a police officer or law enforcement official", like what AndDontCallMeShirley has referred to. The video is the proof of it. I did read from the 'Revealation red book' how JWs target the Jews in New York State and recieved unsatisfactory results. Picketing other members of churches like the catholic and also recruiting new converts at their expenses to me is a great hypocrisy.

before i dive into the actual write-up of this experience, let me put some things straight.. i have thought long and hard if i should write more about my experiences during the 10+ years at different branches.

during these years i worked from financial department, service department, home office and different it assignments.

An Unsettling Experience

in the year 2011, i was very ill with severe anxiety and panic attacks.. my psychiatrist prescribed two potent anti-depressants.. one day, when i was all alone, i heard a distinct voice say, "there are knives in the kitchen - small, medium, and large ...".

the voice trailed off, but the meaning was clear: use one of those knives on yourself!.

my niece in atlanta reported a similar experience when she was prescribed the same anti-depressants following a stillborn delivery.. i'm curious.. has anyone else experienced something like this?.

Where does the Governing Body say "old light" comes from?

the governing body claims they've received "new light" from jehovah every time they change their doctrine.

so where did the "old light" come from that's being replaced?

if the old light is incorrect, could it have come from god?

This is a very good question. Similarly, I have always asked self if that for all the years since the founding of the Watchtower Socieity of Jehovah's Witnesses, whose spirit has been guiding them? Was that the 'Holy Spirit' which is allegedly cannot lie? How about their prophesies that have not come true to this day?

that's less than $2 a publisher!

How do individual JW's justify Jehovah's Old Testament orders to kill little children even babies (amalekites, canaanites)?

in 1. samuel 15:2-3 we read jehovah's order to kill "all" amalekites.

it says "you are to put them to death, man as well as woman, child as well as infant...".

in deuteronomy 2:32-34 the israelites say about sihon.

Iam also very sceptical. Jehovah of the bible is presented as murderer and an egregious human right violator. Throughout the old testament, he is depicted as misogynist and oppressive. Similar view is reflected in the new testament. Nowonder that the Watchtower socieity of Jehovah's witnesses champion this anti-society perspective.
