  Dear Brothers, Chosen Exclusively by God,

  I am a hard-working sister in the congregation. I study, pray go to meetings, etc just like all the men. In addition, I work a full-time job, raise and study with the children, (altho only my husband gets to count the time....), do all the cooking and cleaning ('cus all Christian wives are "workers at home") and spend more time in field circus than most men.

  Yet I am still portrayed in every picture in the WT and illustration from the platform, as an apron-wearing, '50's housewife who is searching for the perfect dress pattern.

  Who am I supposed to be?

  Help!

  I'll give the Canadian favourites (or: favorites, depending how you want to spell it)

  You must see:

  "The Red Violin" with Samuel L. Jackson ( A Canadian movie) Many twists and turns, with an excellent story line.

  "Malena" with Monica Bellucci ( An Italian movie) The comment on society in this one is very interesting. Anyone who thinks beautiful women have it made, this will change your mind.

  grrr.. i just went for a drive to a local park in a place i've not been before.

  i saw a little open air store by the side of the road, and i stopped when i saw the "fresh fruit and peaches" sign.

  i went in, and there was a very pretty girl in her late teens, blond hair, blue eyes, and flirtacious but innocent personality.

  The "They Are Imperfect" Excuse

  doesn't it just make you sick to your stomach?.

  dozens of doctrine changes that effect the lives of the rank and file: the fds are only imperfect men and didn't understand the bible truths at the time.. pedophiles that are protected or not reported and allowed to stay in the congregation: these men are imperfect and this sin isn't unique to jws.

  the organisation has it's problems just like any other...they are not perfect after all.. all their prophesies - failed: the fds are only imperfect men and have never claimed to be a prophet.. i am truly sick of this overused excuse.

  I can't listen to Reniaa any longer.

  It doesn't bother me that people in the organization are imperfect. IT'S HOW THEY DEAL WITH THOSE IMPERFECTIONS THAT BOTHERS ME!!!

  If they make a mistake, then admit it, fix it and move on.

  They aren't even admitting the mistakes, let alone fixing them.
