hi guys over a week ago i started a post about the doantions the society is now asking witnesses as never before .this is the letter that was put on the notice board .i know conditional donation agreement is not a new thing .but this letter was send out of the blue ,no one asked for it and as long as i remember this arrangement it was something you have to ask bethel .notice also how a specific group of people istrargeted ,namely the elderly one with properties ,please let me have your feedback.

They think that they are, but with their long list of failed prophecies - er, when the brothers "ran ahead" - they don't have a leg to stand upon...
so i had my two daughters with me this weekend (their jw mom has them the next one) and it was saturday morning around 10am and i said let's have a short "daddy school" on how to do research on the internet.
so they were plopped on each side of me and my laptop and i was inbetween and was showing them how you can type in "jehovah's witnesses" or "watchtower society" and get lots of vids off youtube on these things and that they can always do their own research if they have any questions on the things they hear at the kh when their mother takes them.. so we were watching one and right then there was a knock at the door and it was two teenage jw girls (from a neighboring cong) offering the magazines... very funny!
my oldest got rid of them and they were giggling and laughing about how weird it was that they would show up right then.. the jws are popping up everywhere in my life lately, ie, at the store, at the mall, at the gym, etc.

Oddly enough, that did NOT work at my door....
When we first moved into this suburb of a fairly good-sized American city, we had JWs at our door about once every year or two. Each time they showed up, the FIRST thing I let them know was that I DISASSOCIATED myself.... Hoping that I'd end up on their "Do NOT Call" list.
No such luck. They showed up, year after year.
So, I started hammering at their belief when they showed up. It still hasn't landed me on their "Do NOT Call" list, but it's made their visits MUCH more interesting - for me, that is...
In fact, I may have knocked a couple of JW teenagers out of the religion by now...

i was a jw for a lot of years, like many of you.
i wanted to try an experiment and try out my jw apologist chops.
since we have such a hard time finding a jw apologist that can argue well, i thought i'd give it a whirl.
Funny that you should mention this, Christ Alone....
I've often thought that I could come up with better arguments than SOME of the various apologists - heck, theologists - than I've seen on-board, especially when some of them appear to be using volume of words instead of solid points to "win" their discussions...

i had quite the fun time at my wedding reception with the jw family so worried that my non-jw aunt was going to do a toast.
unlike them, i do have regard for not offending the conscience of others, so of course i wasn't going to allow that under the circumstances.
i mean, if they really thought i was going to let them do that, why did they even come in the first place?
