by agent86 ingoogle_ad_section_start hi everyone, i am just new to this site and thanks for a very dear friend that has encouraged me to post my story and would love to hear feedback from all you out there xx.
this is my story.
we were introduced to the religion in 1982, not soon after we were unbaptized publishers (a bit to soon for me even at that age) i really didnt miss the celebrations as much as were werent that well off and my parents worked 6 days a week to pay the bills.

by Mickey mouse inhttp://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=utf8&msa=0&msid=116388890922269468211.0004938b3329a3f3d0927&ll=54.876607,1.538086&spn=13.940068,39.506836&z=5.
i've created a map in google maps for people to mark their location, you don't have to put your real identity if you don't want to.. you need to sign in with a google account, click the 'edit' button and then drop a marker on your location.
add a photo if you like!.

Rutherford admits why he stole control of WTB&TS
by Mythbuster ini've been reading the trial transcript and i found this little nugget (page 1028).
this comes while the prosecution is questioning rutherford:.
q. that being your view of it - that a man who was consecrated must not engage in war, then, that is your idea, that you are opposed to all war?.

Resignation
by compound complex inthe imposing lodge on whose polished parquet i now am standing offers me not mere views through floor-to-ceiling plate glass windows but expansive vistas.
formerly, from mullioned panes in my small and tilting cottage, i would gaze with unspoken delight upon the setting sun and my very good fortune.
i was happy to be alive amidst simple things and pleasures.

Question about an elder visit at home...
by paranoid inlast meeting my father was asked what a good day/time would be for the whole family to be present at home by one of the elders.
i haven't exactly been behaving within jw 'standards' so i'm a bit paranoid (sn ;]) a friend suggested it's probably just the visits they do (forget the name in eng.
) and as our co visit is in about 2 weeks it makes sense.... could they possibly be coming to confront me about my actions though?
-
Mattieu
Hi Paranoid, without knowing the circumstances of your family, it could just be a shepherding visit. Quite possibly they may want to discuss your "conduct" and your role in the family arrangement. It could also be that the elders there have been slack in the "shepherding arrangement" and are trying to do as much as they can before the co visit to make themselves loog good statistically.
And, oh behave ;-)
Cheers, Mattieu..

RTA, thx for taking the time to post your story, sitting here with a Friday morning coffee and couldnt go to work until I had read all of it. Glad you are in a much "healthier place". Many of us here can more than relate to your upbringing and struggles. Look forward to hearing more. Cheers, Mattieu.
