BTS... again you are correct, but take a look at molten salt heat storage. It may prove quite usefull.
cheers

BTS... you are correct. I am only trying to be optimisitc about the remaining Wind, Solar. Any positive move of the needle in the "up" direction for those is a good thing.

I take the article as positive, even though they include hydroelectric power in the renewable energy group (well, it really is a renewable energy!).
Here in the southwest, we have lots of sunlight and heat -- which work great for solar and concentrated solar energy. It's starting to sprout up everywhere.

fans of battlestar galactica may know that those two words are used a lot in the series.. how did they get away with it when it so obviously just another word for f**k?.
it's also used a lot on this forum but that's another topic..
When I hear the work "fracking".. I think of breaking rocks far under ground with high pressure water and chemicals to release methane and other gases for a fuel source... but again Im a bit in left field :)
who on your list would be a person of pure evil.. if the guy have a screw loose then he can not be.
held accountable.
evil vs pure evil, what,s the.
I was actually surprised that she walked... But considering that the case is entirely circumstantial (or so what I read in the news papers) I guess I should have seen that coming.
As the profile increases or the money increases, the legal system breaks down.

interestingly enough, fireworks are for sale in our metro area.
the state no longer bans their sale.
a lot of the cities do.
Yeah, it's fun and pretty harmless as long as you are "safe and sane"... With the wind tonight, we had to move out of the way of the smoke and sparks... and pay special attention that they don't blow into anyone's yard.
Im thinking about attending one of the upcomming meetups here. I think Mrs. Darth and I are almost ready to move on with that chapter.
cheers all!

Interestingly enough, fireworks are for sale in our metro area. The state no longer bans their sale. BUT!!.... a lot of the cities do. I find it pretty odd that you can purchase something within the Peoria (a city adjacent to mine) city limits, yet it's illegal to use it there... I live in Glendale, and they have yet to make any "ruling" on their use, so for the time being I'm a pyromainac...
I remember being a little kid (before my parents got the Truth TM ) in Los Angeles, my dad would purchase a box of fireworks for one of those stands and would spend the 4th with pretty fountains and spinny things... After my parents got "cultified" those were strictly forbidden. A few years later, I remember taking my allowance and buying a couple little fountains and some snakes. My dad found them and gave them a proper soaking in water and tossed them. It was pretty hard having all the fun of holidays right up until you are 6 years old and then having it all "taken away" (end rant)...
I hope you all have or had a wonderful July 4th.
Cheers!
when does a scientific perspective become as tenuous as a religious one?.
