there are 1000's who who hate this religion who are stuck ....inside it.

we work against you, we use our position to convince and sway those that still drink your koolaid.

we feed info to authorities who chase you, we warn off potiential converts by directing them to the real truth.

It's people like this that allow us who do not attend any meetings to see what is going on inside the congregation. Reading all of those BOE letters and publications with a rational eye allows us to critique them in ways we could not otherwise do. The more exposure the internal operation WTBS gets to the "outside" the more likely that a slip up will be caught and the WTBS will be held accountable.

All I can do is hope for change and those enduring suffering witnesses still attending will get a little more breathing room.

Thanks EE and Atlantis and others, please keep up the good work!

Can Satan enter your mind if you stop thinking?

as a kid, my brilliant pioneering mother told me that if i stopped thinking, satan and his demons could enter my mind.

am i the only one that was told this useless drivel?

is there a watchtower article that sort of backs this up?.

This rubbish along with the false claim that we only use about 10% of our brain - so in the new system, we will use 100%. Once the WTBS prints something, it becomes "law" and no amount of scientific research or logical reasoning will replace it. Sheesh!

A "reduction of rules" is it the only way the WTBS can eliminate culpability?

how best can the wtbs alter it's rules or eliminate "enforcement" by making everything a "conscience matter"?.

what do you think is the likely outcome?.

Cedars good point. I was also thinking about them dropping the "Two Witness" rule (along with the myriad other rules thay have). It seems to me that by placing themselves (elders and other "spiritually advanced brothers") as judges, jury and executioners (disfellopshippers), they reaise the possibility of being held responsible when they make bad decisions.

They have to either get out of the rule making business or suffer the backlash when they are incorrect.

I certianly hope that a 28M Judgement causes them to pause and look for the more "christian" way to inflict their principles upon others. cheers!
