  i nominate myself as dominatrix of fluff, queen of the sex threads, with nothing theologically worthy or biblically challenging to say, unless it has to deal with sex, sex, and more sex.

  yes, i live for those sex threads i post so freguently, if it's not snow sculptures of penises, it's does looks really matter, so i crown myself fluffiest poster on this board.. lara

  My girlfriend is funny...

  ... on the news yesterday they announced that president bush had made a statement regarding the elections in zimbabwe, that they were 'severely flawed' or something, and that the result shouldn't stand.

  this caused her much amusement.

  i know there's not that much of a comparison, but it's funny how people forget, isn't it?.

  The US always backs Israel for the Jewish vote and the money. Then it's their only real foot hold in the Mideast. The chosen people theory may be true for a few in office but not the majority.

  Your GF has a good sense of humor. Does she read your posts here? I'm interested to know what post-JW spouses think about it all. Especially if your come so far from the life. Think your GF may write about it for us Abaddon?

  Blame Norway

  well, i am stunned.... ... there i was, like any normal sane rational thinking person, thinking that it's all canada's fault, when it turns out that it's norway all along!.

  get this, it's obviously part of a judeao-reptiloid-norweigan conspiracy.... a group of norwegians are demanding the return of the orklands and the shetlands.. now, before the more confused amongst us get worried, this has nothing to do with tolkein or children's ponies.. the shetlands and the orknies are two groups of islands to the north of scotland in the north sea.. they used to belong to the norwegians, dating back to a time when, broadly speaking, whatever norwegians wanted belonged to them (with a little help from a longship and a group of guys in pointy hats waving sharp objects).. this was never contested by england, or scotland, or anyone who liked their head remaining on top of their shoulders, until the king of norway couldn't pony up the loot for a dowery - he was marrying his daughter off to someone who knew what the word 'barber' meant, and didn't wear hats with screw-om horns all the time, and didn't have a surname like 'bloodaxe', social climbing as kings do.. instead, he gave the shetlands and the orknies to the king of england, on the understanding that when he paid up, he'd get them back.. well, this never happened.

  quite how someone can forget (maybe it's something to do with the pointy hats) one has written an iou in the form of two, quite large, groups of islands (we're not just talking three acres of seagull shit here), i don't know.

  What do you think will become of this suit? Are you saying the peoples on the islands want to go with Norway? Sometimes your accent is hard to understand.

  In NYC there is a Dutch family suing Trinity Church for it's land back. They hold the Title from the 1700s and the land was only leased to the church for 100 yrs and forgotten. The land in question is a sizable portion of midtown Manhattan. The Trinity Church has been making money off this property all this time. Do you think they could also sue for all the back lease money they've made for the last 200 years? It was interesting to find out that the Trinity Church is so wealthy.

  Wealthy JWs = Higher Position in the Org.?

  i've read over the past months that jws are not wealthy.

  however, i wonder if those that are wealthy, are they in a high position like elders, ms, co, do, bethelites?.

  since i know of one here at work who does have yearly travel vacations to locales like las vegas, europe and the caribean.

  If a JW is wealthy and they don't have to work then they can do more service. This makes them appear 'more spiritual' than others. To those that rank others by tittle and service.

  I know a couple that have never worked because she is a trust fund baby. They have always pioneered and he has been a commuter at Bethel for years. Presently they are both in law school. They denied that they are attending law school for Bethel.

  Recently (one year or so) the WT came out with information stating that one should not go to school just to provide a need for Bethel. Now we all know that the only excuse for 'supplementary education' has been to fill the needs of Bethel. So this is a step back socially to the day of no college allowed.

  True statement about not knowing people. If Dan is real about his statements in posts, chat and email than some disturbance should be expected from him. I just think he should be given a break since not much harm seemed to come of his prank.

  Sully I'm surprised your so punitive. I would think you would be more understanding about Dans confusion. He is going through a crisis and everyone reacts differently. I don't think he meant harm anyone. He seems gentle as a lamb. A twisted lamb but a lamb LOL.

  I think Dan is very confused at this time and he just wants to fit in with the crowd. He was surely just trying to pull a prank. Give him a break he's got one foot in and one foot out and he doesn't know whether he's coming or going.

  Dan your in need of guidance. I suggest you get a non-christen counselor maybe Jewish. Someone non-christen will be less judgmental. Many people coming out of religious environments need an objective person to talk with in order to identify their issues.

  i must confess that her ladyship and i lived together for 6 months before we got married, so that must be, er...say 200?.

  then we used to spend 3 nights a week gambling in tiberiuss casino, even after we got married, so.....umm, say another 250?.

  Too many to count because everytime I read apostate literature that would be an offense. Right?

  I've never committed adultery or smoked (quit 5 yrs before dunking ), and I haven't had a drink (quit 3 yrs before dunking), I don't vote (never have in my life), haven't had the urge to drink blood, no gambling (to cheap), I don't make a practice of lying (I have a conscience ), I curse once in a while but I don't have the habit. Mostly apostate related offenses. I think that's enough to get the noose around my neck.
