  Just had the Watchtower and Awake dropped off in the magazine rack at my work.

  i found the aug 1, 2009 wt, and the aug 2009 awake in the magazine rack at my work.

  i wrote on the cover with a big sharpie, "1-800-why-1914, www.freeminds.org, and www.jehovahs-witnesses.net .

  on the inside cover i wrote: "warning: contains cult propaganda" any other suggestions?

  Finally free-

  I wanted to pump gas but my JW parents wouldn't let me. they said, "OH, What if someone wanted to buy ciggarettes, you would have to get it for them. You minds as well join the army and shoot people and kill them that way!!!!" AHHHH Pumping gas is the DEVIL!

  My first job-

  Mowing Lawns for the neighbors+$5 a lawn. My parents said, "do it like you were working for Jehovah!"

  2nd job-

  Cleaning businesses with my dad. He paid me whatever, $15 a day.

  Money was all mine. Spent it all at the arcade!!!!

  I found the Aug 1, 2009 WT, and the Aug 2009 Awake in the magazine rack at my work. I wrote on the cover with a big Sharpie, "1-800-why-1914, www.Freeminds.org, and www.jehovahs-witnesses.net . On the inside cover I wrote: "Warning: Contains Cult Propaganda" any other suggestions? I hope they come back and find the message I wrote, I didn't want to throw it away because they'll just leave more and be able to count them as a placement.

  Thanks to JW's my dad was able to rape 6 of my eight sisters and get away with it. Only a disfellowshipping. He was back as an elder one year later.

  Documentary About The Flood and Noah's Ark

  about a week or two ago i watched a documentary about the flood in noah's day entitled "in search of noah's ark".

  two things i found very interesting in this program is a theory that one person had about how they believed the flood was caused due to a meteor hitting the ocean creating a tsunami that flooded the entire earth.

  scientist were unanimous in their view that this is a very plausible scenario and that there is no way to rule this possibility out.

  I like the part when it says diffrent civilizations also recorded a global flood in earths history. That means they were there to record it. Right???? I thought the Bible said Noah and his family were the ONLY survivers and GOD flooded the entire earth....Hmmmmm.

  this chapter in the bible was my very first talk i gave at the age of 7 years old.

  i was in the first grade.

  i later discovered this chapter was such a significant point in my life.

  I remember the day I left JW's. I was living in my sisters house. 21 years old. Very unhappy and alone. I was trying to be the best JW I could be, but found myself so unhappy that I was trying to commit suicide. I then asked myself. "Why? What is making me so unhappy that I am trying to do this? I have done what everyone has told me to do. They said I should be happy. So why am I going to do this? I've,,,,done,,,what,,,,everyone,,,, told,,,me,,to,do.....(that's when it hit me) All my life I've done what the WT told me to do, what the elders told me to do, what my family have told me to do. I have never done anything for myself, in fact I don't even know who I am. Ten years of searching, I now know who I am. The Holy Spirit or something was there to make me realize what it was that was making me attempt suicide. Even though I knew it would cost me my family, my friends and everything and everyone I know. They all weren't worth taking my life. I am so happy now. I am still distant from my family, but I've created my own family now. I am very loved by my wife and son, and I love life now like I have never done before.
