I couldn't live life without mine. I've noticed my father losing his and it worries me. He has actually been told from time to time by his JW associates that his humour isn't proper. He has countered with 'Jehovah gave us a sense of humour for a reason' ... but it does wear one down to be constantly admonished.

I have to bring him back from the dark sometimes. One of my goals is to get him laughing everytime I call or see him. I'm relentless!

I'm not really sure if there is anyone. I've been told I remind one colleague of Betty Cooper from the Archie comics (I don't see it). And another colleague told me Katherine Heigel (again I don't see it ... especially since I have hazel eyes not brown eyes and my hair is not that blond).

B the X, excellent idea! You must be a techie… your btf (button temporary fix) is easily installed. The ease of removal is an excellent feature as well, since these are local mods and will not be automatically removed when you install the next release.

We’ll call this first one btfSND01*.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, I am going to have to go with the second available fix, btfSND02**, as right now I’m using the work PC for all my stuff. See descriptions below:

*btfSND01: update the Submit button on your Posts with your own label using your own fun and unique words to describe the function of the button by applying it with wite-out and a pen.

Note: this fix is a local modification and must be removed by the user. The next release available will not perform uninstall.

**btfSND02: update the Submit button on your Posts with your own unique removable sticky labels using your own fun words to describe the function of the button. This fix allows greater flexibility for the user as it facilitates quick, multi-label changes, without the application of cleaners or fingernails (as in btfSND01*), especially when a flash of genius hits you. Additionally, the lightning fast removal feature of these labels ensures the boss is unaware of your mod and can be easily removed once the next release is available.

Going Back

this is going to sound somewhat crazy.

having faded completely around two years ago i found myself with new found freedom and if was fun.

i developed new friendships and hobbies and did some stuff that was frowned upon by those in the truth.

You have just compromised your principles! Which says you are now entering into a Lose-Win relationship with the WTS where you Lose and they Win. You are willing to let the WTS lie to you so that you can have their fellowship.

I think you're taking the path of least resistance. I think you're avoiding defining your life for YOU! I believe you will be a much greater 'witness' outside of the WTS, than inside.

BEFORE Going Back you need to evaluate what you want out of life, and the principles you wish to base yourself upon. The above quote says you have not adopted proper principles and that you are willing to let the WTS lie to you so that you can have their fellowship.

One more reason I believe a Mentorship program is vital for people such as yourself, rathfear. Please, please think about this before acting. We are here for you. Heaven

How would you respond to a Witness calling worldly people "wicked?"

this morning in the field ministry a brother in our car group was talking about wicked people.

i asked him what he thinks of when he says "wicked people.

" (i am working undercover) he said, "those that don't worship jehovah.".

Ok, so you haven't met me as of yet so you'll have to try an envision the look that would be on my face ... a combo of wtf? and . And then, the words:

" For God's sake man/woman, before it's too late, pull your head out of your ass! We are ALL wicked sinners! Sheesh!"

why?........is it therapy or revenge?....or wanting to save others from the real truth?..what else is there?...........i feel all three...and why do i so want to help others...does not evryone have a right to their own belief?.......oompa.

oompa... I feel the same. Yes, there is more. I feel a need to protect people, to help those less fortunate. I feel a need to leverage my skills and knowledge to contribute to the growth of the human spirit. I believe these are traits of a true Christian as well as a true Muslim as well as a true Buddist etc... Am I being directed by the Holy Spirit? The Bible says Yes. I believe so as well because of the feeling inside. I feel myself growing as well. I believe if you look at the holy books from other faiths you would see the same ideology.

What we do to others, we are doing to ourselves. The only scenario that works for all of us is Win-Win. In all other cases, someone or everyone loses.

Yes, everyone has the right to their own belief as long as they uphold Win-Win. If this is not present, then the belief is NOT principled and needs to be altered or dealt with.

Is the WTS a Win-Win organization? In my opinion, they are not. Comments? Heaven

Revalations interpritations and shit!

is the wtbts explanation of revalation realistic?.

[apart from the obvious 144k crap and trumpet blasts symbolizing conventions].

do others have similar beliefs and interpret the wild beast etc similarly or is it unique to them.. is it a realistic interpritation?.

I've always been fascinated by this book as it is the concluding one in the Bible. I am so confused by what was written here and what is written in the WTS doctrines. The last 4 verses, from the KJV, had quite an impact on me.

Revelation 22:18-21 --

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book;

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

20 He wihich testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

I always like to have a 'first thoughts' or 'first impressions' conversation with myself in my mind. My first thoughts here were:

"It's like God is telling us that he expects this is going to happen"

I believe that the WTS has done just this. What do you think? Heaven
