Yes BootCamp works well too (I have Windows 7 on my MacBook) but it takes up a bunch of harddrive space and it isn't as convenient as loading the program directly within MacOS.

Watchtower CD library for Mac?
by jwfacts indoes anyone know if the watchtower cd library comes in a mac compatible version?
or has anyone been able to crack it so it works on a mac.. i know i can run emulation software, but don't feel like giving any more money to microsoft for a copy of their operating system.
i have just bought a couple of mac laptops and find it so much better than windows 7 in almost every regard that i cannot understand why people still buy pc's.

New site exposing "jehovahsjudgment"
by middleman inmany of you are already familiar with the watchtower's 10 year association with the un.
there's also a good amount of us that are familiar with the "flagship" rebuttal site of this association---> http://www.jehovahsjudgment.co.uk/watchtower-un-ngo/.
time and time again i have been referred to this website when talking to jw's about this issue.

Good & concise information thus far.
The secrecy about this relationship is still in place. When I was a Witness and raised questions about this an elder wrote to the Society on my behalf. He was determined that we "hear from Jehovah" on the matter. When the written response came back from the Society, I understand it was with caveat that their letter reply not be shown to me, read to me, or even directly quoted from. They only could relate the gist of it.
I wonder if this has been anybody else's experience.

If you have an Intel Mac the program CrossOver will allow you install/run Wachtower Library.
You can download a trial at http://www.codeweavers.com/products/cxmac/

random thought/pondering
by ana_dote infirst off, i just wanna say that i don't know how i feel about god, the bible, etc.
i'm in a major state of confusion, as i'm just newly out of the organization and coming to realize all the lies.
this has led to me questioning everything.. so the other day i was talking with a friend and had this interesting thought (i'll try to explain it as clear as possible without rambling or talking in circles and muddying up the concept lol).

Aguest,
Thank you for the answers --
Maybe I should clarify what I meant when I asked if death was eternal. You said:
If you mean "eternal" as in never/cannot dies/die, no. Because death IS hurled into the Lake of Fire and destroyed, and thus becomes "no more," right? If, however, you mean "eternal" as in "immortal" (which some people do mean)... such as all spirit beings are... then, yes. "Immortal" means does not die... and spirits, including Death, do not die. They CAN, however, be destroyed, which only happens by fire. Water can contain them... but not destroy them. If you mean "eternal" as in had no beginning, per se... that is my understanding.
I meant eternal as in having no beginning or origin. If I read you correctly it seemed to imply that Sovereign God did not create Death/Darkness - that Death/Darkness, an actual spirit entity not an abstract idea, always existed like God himself. If I understood that correctly I was wondering in what way then Death was subservient to God - if they were co-eternal. I am also wondering if there is a way to reconcile this concept with what is written by Isaiah the prophet where the Word of God recorded as saying - "I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil; I am Jehovah, that doeth all these things." (Isaiah 45:7)
Also as a follow-up to my earlier inquiry about animal kind verses mankind in his original state. If I am reading correctly you are saying that the garden was not necessarily an earthly place but part of the spirit realm. How is it then that animal kind being of flesh and red blood can exist within it?
Also in regard to what you said about Christ - would it be correct to say that on earth Jesus was in the image of Adam and not in the image of God?
As always thank you for your replies.

A couple of questions based on what you have shared --
Is death/darkness eternal in the same manner that Almighty God is? If so how is death subservient to God?
Can you elaborate more on Adam/Eve enemies? Was their rebellion prior to the creation of man? What was the root of the rebellion?
Genesis indicates that man was created from the dust/earth how does this square with the thought they were spiritual beings that were originally not clothed in flesh? Were they originally something different from the rest of the "animal" creation around them?

It takes courage to go there that's for sure. The Lord has sent me back twice and each time it nearly made me tremble with fear in flesh. (Once he even had me answer at the Watchtower study -- can you imagine.) Anyway I know of the fear in your flesh - but the courage in the Spirit. I'm glad that loved triumphed. May you be blessed.

I expect this book will be contain less directives from the Society to limit legal liability. Will probably be published by "Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses." Yes - extra, extra wide margins for writing down all of the rules.
